Send my bike to Hong Leong to check on surging & hiccups problem. Saw this very good looking red-silver 2011 Fazer.

hey guys, i got this strange noise coming from the front somewhere ard my iu unit but i can seem to find this problem, really need help on this the sound is so annoying btw im riding fz8s

It's the front fairing the black part (don't know how to describe). It vibrates causing the zzzzz sound. I had that on mine, loosen n. Tighten back helps abit

its something like a clip rite? i already try to removed a put back it still the same..

how to break in?? i rode 4000km liao with these pads

 

you have to break-in the pads when they are new. hard braking when going around 40-60kmh to bed the new pads to the brake discs.....

 

check with your mech.. chances are you might have unknowning glazed your disc..

My FZ-1S front brake vibrated even though i didn't do hard braking. Mine is ABS version and I know only hard braking will activate the ABS system.Anyone have this issue happened to them before?

im sure ure saying about the inner side fairing which has 2 screws front n back..the one beside the front fork.

Did you close your iu cover properly? it happens to me as well.

the thing is, where is your IU located? we have quite alot of different IU mounting positions..

 

on handlebar, side cowl, behind meter, under seat, no IU, etc... :angel:

bikeworkz and planet are good for me..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

The vibration on the disc brake when I'm slowing down while pressing my front brake. Seem like ABS was activated.

 

Bike on 4 month old.

Dont be lazy, go HL to check lo instead of asking around. Never have a doubt on your brake. This is not a norm where ABS do not activate & behave this way.

Hi All,

Need some advice.

I've changed new battery & rectifier, but my volt meter shows inconsistant readout, sometimes 12, 13 even drop to 10-9.

Never had any problem starting the bike everytime, though.

What's wrong?

Appreciated any reply.

Thought you can hear and feel the tuk tuk tuk of ABS? I doubt vibration have anything to do with ABS. Like what kevin says - Never have any doubt about your bike. Always check it out.

Chances are either the Magnetic coil/ Magnet is going to RIP soon.
