Hi Guys, just got my class 2 and was thinking of getting either a fz1s 2010 or fz8 2013.

Still unsure, need some advice.

Heard that the FZ1 has magnetic coil issues?

Just my experience, better to use a pullback riser with the fz1 bar. Very comfy compared to stock.

U may wanna wait to see if you like the upcoming MT-10, though it's more of a naked.

The FZ1 don't seem to be getting an upgrade. Maybe this is the last version.

Or maybe the MT10 will have a Tracer version in 2017. Who knows?

Sighz. My 2006 FZ6N COE is expiring on 10 May.

 

What do you all suggest?

1) Change bike?

2) Renew for 10 years? COE is $6.5+K now. :(

3) Renew for 5 years?

4) Scrap it and rely on our "very reliable" public transport?

Just checked with the bike shop I frequented and bought all my rides there.

 

They have a 2011 black-coloured Fazer 800 with half fairings.

 

If trade in, the shop will take in my current ride for about $1,000 (the owner of the shop said they will export it).

 

hahaha.

 

I just checked OneMotoring, actually my COE is due on 24 July 2016. hahaha.

wow. this thread is still alive. have not logged in for a long time..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.
