but do you guys often get burn by engine when not wearing jeans??

Of course every bike in it's way have their Good and bad points,in my point of view,if you are into very hardcore touring attitude,u should go for a the FZ1...new or old..your call...if you wanna find lobang..u can always PM me.

 

thanks for that:thumb:.. i'll pm ya (but wont be tat soon) for lobang thanks once again.. anyway just to clear the air, i don say fz6 is no good... i got the feeling for 600cc for touring.. and so i wana feel the 1000cc which i assume can go further and i see fazer still the choice.. :cheeky:hopefully i dont offend any1 huh...:cheeky:

i took roughly 1 mth to run in... good luck to u pal! :thumb:

 

i think if u wear shorts and ride out in noon time and if u got no tank bra, ur inner thighs will get smoked too! lol~! :D it happened to me b4 i got my bra... kns had to ride like uncle like that, legs open wide wide... :faint:

 

unless u r referring ur legs touches the frame? if u do, it means u have long legs! :p

i usually wait for it to get over 60 degrees on 1st ignition in the day/morning or if engine nvr run for more than 5 hours... else, stop go stop go that kind of method, i would jus ignition on and wait for like 15-30 secs then i move off liao... :cool:

ya... i'm referring to the frame... and first time when i ride the bike and stop... theres smoke coming out near the exhaust and under the seats... i nearly panic...

if u want to run in faster..u can opt for Dyno...and also i often wear shorts on my fazer...no problem..it may be "hot" but def not enough for a set of hot boiled eggs..

also, u will smell some rubber smell while running in for like 500km... it's perfectly fine de too... :D

i used to see the idling goes down after 62 degrees so i always warm up til dat temperature...

but the last time i ask regarding the warm up with some mechanic... wat they told me was dat actually anything above 52 degrees can le...

 

motoworld always like to drag de la... last time Ermax i also waited for like 1mth plus... somemore got the wrong wan.. lagi sian...

You can only ride off if temperature is 40 degrees and above. Anything below that is definately a no as the auto choke is on below 40. For me 50 degrees is just fine to ride.

 

Can refer to the manual for appropriate temperature.

i prefer to let it warm up over 60 degrees on mornings or 1st start of the day... somehow, i noticed that there is a diff when u move off at 50 degrees and 60 degrees... u try that out then u let me know... :) there's couple of times i move off at 70+ degrees, engine lagi more shiok... try that out... :)

 

it's alws good to let it warm up fully than not to warm it up... good food are alws best taken hot, remember? :D

Hi

 

Need you guys expertise, if change the Frazer 6 S2 exhaust pipe to carbon or titanium will it reduce the heat on the seat significantly.

havent collected it yet, it just arrived yesterday.. now still sitting pretty in the bikeshop.
