Mah Motors Vs Asphoon!

HI ppl i would probably be getting a xr125 next week, 2nd hand from the above mentioned shop. would like to noe comments from ppl who have deal with the above shops before.

which shop is better? based on pricing, after sales service, staffs attitude and all. anythign thats comparable.

or maybe u have other shops to reccommend u might wanted advice me too

Both are well established bike shop so you might just wanna zoom in on their bike condition and pricing to decide

Both are good shop but depends on the bike la...but for me...i get it from ah heng...

 

4X accidents(twice hit by taxi,once by bus & last by self skidded)...still running strong....!

i dunnoe abt asphoon. But i got my bike from MAh and their interest and late payment charges cut throat deep-deep. And when i got the bike, i didnt get anything attractive along with the bike. I'm sure Asphoon can offer more.

Both are good shop but depends on the bike la...but for me...i get it from ah heng...

In terms of their maintenance is a No-No from scrambler type. Pls proceed to respective mechanics shops

i tink the best is u go to all the mentioned shops to take alook at the bike, check out the pricing then decide. Different ppl have diff experience in diff bike shop

I got my bike from Mah... Pls be extra careful.. The salesman overlooked my insurance, they quoted me AXA, when AXA doesn't accept P-platers.. Just read what the agreement says, never sign an empty agreement at Mah... Best to go with someone who frequent there to get a better bundle...

 

Next was what they promised me and what they delivered. They promised me bike cover and raincoat.. They said bike cover dun have my bike size.. Raincoat they just let it slipped my mind..

 

As for the insurance, I refuse to top up to take up NTUC coz they quoted and overlooked, which means it's their fault, not mine.. And I signed to agree that the OTR price is such with that insurance price.. My friend liased with the salesman as I was held back by meetings, the salesman dared my friend to get a cheaper insurance policy by ourselves, and if we get anything else, he'll return my $900..

 

It's really putting down a bad black mark in my list.. Not saying you should avoid.. But just be extra extra careful, and be firm with what they promised you. Demand them for what they have promised.

Can try Looi's at Kaki Bukit Place. Friendly service from sales, admin to after sales. Bought my bike there, explained to me the costs but yeah, you got to do your part and read the clause and know about other hidden costs and ask them before deciding your purchase. Gave me a bundle of items along with my 1st hand bike with 3 free oil changes (can try asking for freebies for second hand bike). Some of them no stock, but when I came again a few weeks later, they ask me to take 1 from the shelf, any size, any colour. No black face. The workshop guys are great too. I think they do a good job and always ask if my bike's okay after they service, and once before, they have forgotten something and I came back a few mins later, they tended to my bike immediately. My friends and someone from the forum recommended me the shop, though the machine price of the same bike I have at Mah is cheaper. Anyone has any other experience with the shops mentioned?

Just taken delivery of my bike from Looi's... service from them is excellent... maybe because I have known the boss for almost 20 years... went to Mah's at first, but they couldn't tell me anything firm about the bike, e.g. price, delivery, etc... won't even let you sit on it... heard from my friend that Looi's got a similar bike... so went and bought it on the spot...

OT abit saw from your signature you riding MP3, can I ask how is it? Saw from the papers that AS Phoon advertise 0 interest, but the web is not up yet anyone know what is it about? Do they do 1st hand bike? looking at the Honda ST13. TIA

i vote for asphoon too. looi´s also not bad lah.

went there to recce for a new bike sometime back, wanted a dr200.

but they didnt have a model for me to try and on, and the boss said xr125l´s good too. so somehow was keen to get xr.

as xr is nicer and stuffs lah, in terms of outlook and etc.

so got my xr125l from asphoon as was directly by boon siew to get it from them (:
