for 125z, chain tightening is relatively easy, especially if u have main stand.

i don have pics but i try describe for u.

step 1: use a wrench and loosen(not take out) the main nut holding the tyre. make sure u knock it inwardsa bit after loosening...to make it really loose.

step 2: loosen the nut that holds the rear brake caliper to the chassis. again, only loosen. this will enable the brake set to move along with the wheel when adjuusting.

step 3. u see the 2 nuts that are at the end of the chassis? one on left side and the other on right? tighten(clockwise) the one on the chain side. this will eliminate the chain sag. u will see it tighten. then roughly gauge the amt of turns u did for the chain side and do it for the other side..sort of balancing out.

step 4:

tighten the main nut at the same time adjusting the chassis pieces so that it evens out.

tighten the other nuts if everything settle.

just a bit of contribution. if u don understand, im sorry but i tried. maybe if u stay westside can drop by and ill show u =D

short n simple....

1.8? 2.15? the biggest tyre for 125z is 90/80.

IMO opinion, 40 rear and 15 front is the best ratio. im currently trying 39 rear which is rather slow for me. no pick up. maybe if u r lightweifht, 39 can. for a heavy bugger like me(90kg), 40 is the best.

btw i tighten chain at auntie shop since i was there to by stickers, they charge me 2 lollar.

Normal Sprocket play is 15/38......can reach the Maxx of yr bike.

Big sprocket kills yr engine........Its only good for short term like track use or Drag use. Like Costar....hes abit big in size so thats why 39 if nt 38 for rear is good. Save yr engine before it give up.

What i meant was standard rim size for 125z is 1.6x17 front and rear . If i were to change my rims to size 1.8x17 front and 2.15x17 rear , what is the biggest combo of tyre size can i have ?

I was using 43 can hit 140km,change to 41 haven test or feel thn acc. Zzz

Walauuuu...........U wann to reach the next traffic light in a few seconds izzit. 41 is still big for yr sprocket ratio......later ur engine will give u sounds that u don like to hear if use 41 too long. But up to you laa bro........can test how fast u can reach 100km/h wif that sprocket, hahhaaa........43 can hit 140km/h but very slow isn't it.

110/70 can fit ?

Thats really a low profile tyre with big diameter....but i guess u can try coz iv only heard 100/90 ever fit on a rear 125z. Even for track they use 90/80.....

Btw guys, hollow sound frm bike ever mention here right?

Is something like open airbox or..? Change like mushroom type ah?

That wann must ask Costar....im nt too sure. Hhahaah.....my bike Stock liaoo. SOund OEM wannn.....
