what causes ?

i have this prob now with my spec 2 its that the bike has no power and when i checked with the shop it seems the carbs r overflowing, just wondering what causes this and what is the component that needs replacement?

There are 4 drain screws for the carbs assembly...one each. Take a long samll size flat head screw driver and turn anti-clockwise to drained out the petrol on th carb base. Sometime, there are residue that can 'jammed' your float movement. Do this when engine is cold. after all four is done..use you bike as normal and monitor. If overflow problem again, likely like what BioMoDiFIed said..float may have problem..oso main needle not closing properly. End of the day...have to service carb liao..$80.00 if nothing need to change..+40 if you wanna balance the carbs.
