Hi all! I'll be getting a Class 2B MotorCycle license soon and intend to buy a motorbike for transport this year. If can get a 2nd hand one which is in good condition, I'll save on the COE money! Hopefully I could get a bike which maintainence is not so "chor" (expensive )What kind of bike do u guys recommand?

This won't be much of help but ask yourself this question..What do you want? Low fuel consumption or power/speed? If you're able to answer that then you will know what bike you really want..

I have tried to see things from your point of view..But no matter how hard I try..Or what I do..I just can't get my head that far up my butt..

well in sg having too powerful speed also no use.. cannot speed and too many traffic.. well how abt both?(jus jokin) haha... i think i go for low fuel comsumption.. so which should i take? :giddy:

'Sportsbike' with low fuel consumption must be the Honda CBR150 lah. But it's not a sportsbike in the true sense of the word lah. It's more of a 4-stroke commuter bike with the body of a sportsbike. Hence, the lower fuel consumption than 2-stroke 2B sportsbike. Nonetheless, it still has better pick-up and top speed than most 4-stroke 2B bikes out there.

1 thing tho! It's super-slim, so u and the CBR150 may not look like a nice match.

How big can a girl get? I'm assuming ur a girl cos there's a female sign next to ur name.

CBR is slim.. but if ur big, it'd definitely look better on u than a cub.

The bajaj pulsar is another option. Heard raving reviews abt it. But it's not a sportbike.

I'd vote for the CBR150! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

it all comes down to planning ba. everything we do, we start small. den slowly we build it bigger... if we just start from big, we will not appreciate the results. ever since i start riding, i have planned what bike i wanna get. and i'm still following it... :cheeky:

hmmm...what has choosing a bike got to do with schools?

maybe you can post it in "Bikes & Bytes". you will have more response.

TZR? You do know its a very old bike right? Or did your friend meant TZM? If want to look sporty but low fuel consumption..I'd say CBR150..

much cheaper to own than SPs, kips & TZM.

Of course cheaper lah. 4-stroke vs 2-stroke mah.
