Yes they say it's all parallel import direct from Thailand. They claim this is better because the emission standards there more easy so the engine settings are put at higher power, and there is no catalytic converter for lower emissions. Dealer bikes have smaller jettings and exhaust, and power is lost because of the cat.

 

I'm not expert. Didn't buy anyway. So is this true?

 

its true dat parallel imported bike do have that claims they said but all i can say its a matter of whether are u lucky or sway... like previously i bought a TZM from some shop which is parallel import i didnt know til recent le... cos last time P plate ah... and guess wat after my full run in my bike can only reach 80++ not even 90... i took my bike back to dat shop and managed to hit 90++ still not satisfied went to another shop to do and den it can hit 110 but still not happy so went to another shop to do again and finally my bike can hit 200... thru out the whole process i didnt change a single thing... and the last shop finally told me dat my bike is not stock at all... alot of parts have been changed... even my pipe is so much louder dan others... so getting a parallel bike doesnt means u can get a more powerful bike instance like my case i went thru alot spent about $500 odd all pure servicing and settings and finding the fault no parts changed... where else my friend who bought with me at the same shop TZM as well he only changed a silencer and his bike can close to 200 on our meter...
