I got the older version on my bike. The new one seems to look better so thinking of changing.

I got down fork 1 inch so a bit scared. :cheeky: Especially on some unbelievably high humps like those at the JB customs. Currently got no problem with the old one but estimated with the new one will require another 1-2 inch sacrifice on the clearance.:giddy:

If it aint broken, dont fix it. Since you know that you had ur front fork lowered & the fact that the new one will bring down the clearance in 1-2inches lower..it doesnt make sense when you know whats the consequences gonna be

Hehehhe..that i agree but not compromising the performance. I dunwan you to ride feeling uneasy and have to lookout for it(belly pan) for every humps :cheeky: I wud have bought the newer design too if only they have the same advantage as the old one..cant believe they missed that.

With the old belly, shudnt be a problem cos if kena..ur below exposed pipe will kena first. The new one if im not wrong covers the bottom so like ad1da5 mentioned before, it will bring down additional 1-2inches more.

If thats the case its a sure hit your belly(new one) and lucky if it doesnt snap. So you might wana take that into consideration too bro Shinhwa?

Short? hmm..what else can be done to "lower" the bike?

Sh|nHwA bro, I think if your suspension lowered before better get the older version. My personal experience: When I pillion someone average and if I not careful with my speed over a hump, it does hit the bottom slightly. I downfork 1 inch, rear sus setting at 5 (hardest).

If you wan a quick view at the difference between new and old belly pans, see the attached. New one on top, old one below. Sorry, borrow pics for a while.:cheeky:

Word of caution: LAB do sell a thinner version of the old belly pan at a cheaper price. Try not to get that cos some ppl experience it cracking easily.

Cheers

I believe this is the "old" belly pan you guys talking a bout?well, true enuff it does not need to be removed when changing of EO.

Ok,now i need to know whether Seng Kwang's got sell only one side of the crashbar or they sell in pair? Mine(see below) got "sweep" by a Jap driver along grange road today.

Try to imagine, from where the dent on my crash bar and the dent from near his rear wheel(left side) near rear door. I did not fall and all i can feel is a slight kick on my right outer foot :faint:

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h89/Hyper_Vtec3/Misc/Others/Image000.jpg

u sufferd the same faith as me bro..

lucky my crash bar nt like urs.. the hollow type..

crash bar also got 2 typr..the hollow n the solid type.. mine scrap the crash bar until its flat..nt dent..if i were to use ur type, my crash bar is a goner..

:cheeky: :cheeky:

In fact i felt lucky for that,if not it will definitely pushed inwards and cause additional dent to my coil cover  Solid is heavy? hmm not good for me either, unnecessary weight added :cheeky: by the way thanks, didnt know there was a "light" and "heavy" type of crash bar..learn something new :thumb:

u getting the arrow type or normal type hugger?

maybe we go and get together?

i still confused to if i should i get the arrow hugger or normal hugger??? really

:btw: was told that the normal hugger will crack more easily at the chain guard area compared to the arrow hugger due to the thickness of the chain guard area. and was strongly recommended to get the arrow hugger...
