Spec 2 and Spec 3 cannot install due to the Honda Ignition Security System (H.I.S.S.). unless u disable the HISS...

really can remote start ah? u don scared pple disturb ur bike and engage ur bike 1st gear and when u remote start ur bike jerk forward?

 

 

eh but tink of it...safty function when ur side stand down u engage gear also cant start the bike right? :confused:

confirm can. i have been using remote start for so long already.

and yes, u r right. when bike is engaged into any gear bike cannot remote start.

 

another s4 around my blk also have alarm with remote start but cannot install remote start cos the owner's bike is a later version of Hyper VTEC. everytime see my remote start he drools. haha. :sweat:

 

ok, jokes aside. anyway, to share some info and my knowledge here, wat i know is tat to install remote start for so called the later version of S4 Hyper VTEC, a voltage divider circuit made up of a one way diode and a resistor is required in order for the remote start to work. coz for later versions of Hyper VTEC, Spec 2 and Spec 3, the ignition assy is different. meaning that the ignition system is actually using only 8volts to start the bike. alarm systems around the market produces 12volts when you try to activate remote start. and hence u need that curcuit to bring down the voltage to be able to remote start your bike.

and to install remote start for bikes that uses 8volts to start the bike is risky, coz of the voltage difference, it might even kill the rectifier if the wrong diode and resistor is used. this voltage difference is very sensitive for bikes.

and hence, you choose, remote start or a new rectifier to pay, its your call, the ball is in your court...

for spec 2 and 3, coz of the HISS, and they can only remote start if they disable the HISS... and not forgetting the voltage divider circuit + the risk...

jus my 2 cents knowledge after experiments with a bike shop mech in SG...

sidestand function will prvent this unless its sensor is jammed..........morever ur handlebar is lock and those people can't just ride it off round and round in a circle mode too.........kekekekkekkekeke...

guys anyone thought of changing the front mud guard ?? maybe like rs 125 mud guard got 2 piece down to the fork

yes, my belly pan is from Motoworld... but i bought it from a forumer some 1 month back... :smile:

 

the front mudguard tat u say have 2 piece down to the fork... the area that is so called 2 piece down to the fork is actually to prevent small stones flying into the brake calipers to get stucked in the brake pads when riding... i have plans to DIY that... jus stay tuned to this thread... :cheer:

 

:btw: anyone knows the price of a new mudguard like wat bro Jing`had said? :confused:

there r shops whom open the absorber (spring) and send for servicing..so therefore..when they take it out, u ask them to spray wat color u intended. any colour..most shop can open it.. :smile:
