History is filled with many inspirational heroes; men and women who live life to its fullest by living for their life mission. I believe that it is this very quality that separates people who live dull boring lives and those who are drawn to the edge and beyond!

Quoting from Dr. John C. Maxwell’s book, The Successful Journey,

“Success is…

Knowing your purpose in life,

Growing to reach your maximum potential, and

Sowing seeds that benefits others”

Sit down and try to fill up two different lists as honestly as you possible can. The first list all of your academic and acquired skills throughout your life experiences. The second list down all of your talents; that is the stuff that you are certain that you do better as compared to others.

The next is to find your motivation. Find the one (or few) things that can push you to go on even after you’ve hit the “wall”.

If you can articulate the above, set short and long goals that are realistic yet challenging. Go out and conquer them one at a time and I’m certain that you will make history one day!

"They're not that different from you, are they? Same haircuts. Full of hormones, just like you. Invincible, just like you feel. The world is their oyster. They believe they're destined for great things, just like many of you; their eyes are full of hope, just like you. Did they wait until it was too late to make from their lives even one iota of what they were capable? Because, you see gentlemen, these boys are now fertilizing daffodils. But if you listen real close, you can hear them whisper their legacy to you. Go on, lean in. Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary."

- John Keating (Dead Poets Society)

"Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate, so we can buy sh*t we don't need."

- Tyler Durden (Fight Club)

"Until you find something worth dying for, you're not really living."

- Rebecca St. James

When you feel down, think of how fortunate you are as compared to many others and you would start feeling better...It works for me....

1) You got eyes to see, some dun

2) You're born in Singapore and so we're all spared of floods, earthquakes, droughts and many more...How lucky.

3) We've fresh drinking water at the turn of our taps, some have to walk miles to their wells.

4) Blah blah blah

The list goes on but if we've taken all these for granted, then we will never be happy....Happiness is from within...you can't find it "outside".....:goodluck:

Life is a journey...keep on walking

for me ah...

in a short summary is when i finally rest and stand still and turn my head back to take a look back at my life journey, i want it to fill my heart with satisfaction and pride; not full of regrets and dissapointment.

then finally turning my head to the front again and see the road ahead with a sense of hope and joy, not doubts.

The very fact that you made this thread saying what you did shows that you have something you still want to live for. Something that you believe you can desperately hold onto. Only you can find out yourself.

Because those who want true death, will already have lost any kind of hope. Without hope, there is no life.

Thai Amulets do not produce instant miracles. Wear it with faiths and a good heart. Eventually you will see the effect.

Im letting go some of my thai amulets which I had collected throughout the years when I go to Thailand. Do PM me if you are looking for something which u cant find in my post, I might have it. Thanks :)

Don't mess with old farts. Age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.
