oh..btw yesterday i juz removed the paint on my rims...guess wad..i made a mess...:giddy: :giddy: :cry: :cry: haiz..any one spray his own rims b4...nb now my rear rims...r totally paintless...

i guess the market price for a FP plate now is around 7k...depending on condition too

 

as for where...i think get from private seller cheaper

April 2004 - June 2005 : Honda NSR150SP

 

June 2005 - August 2006 : Honda RVF400 NC35

 

August 2006 - Present : Yamaha YZF-R1

the resale value is very high for rvf, as compare to other 400cc sportsbike..

You think its worth getting?I tot Daytona dampers only in gold and silver colours?

my friend bought a FS plate rvf at 10k last year...so i guess now should be around 9k?

i got my damper from moto world.. i think its nhk or ngk.. i think its good already.. why pay 250 for a second hand when u can juz top a little more for a 1st hand..

damper, i found it restrciting movement on my TZM las time. never tested on RVF though

how much did you get your nhk damper off motorworld? its the gold one right?

 

 

amba: i wont go without damper on my rvf, it feels so good in corners! not so well.. 'unstable? easy to turn?' and i FEEL the road better. but thats just my personal opinion ^^

That's why.$220 seems quite ex.But NHK brand new costs bout $380.

just serviced my carbs and spark plugs today

 

solved the problem guys

 

i did at HKL for 132.

my bike is running on stock jets

today my bike did 180 with pillion.

 

i did the HRC fuel tap mod, and think its a good solution.

it doesnt have the pull back feeling at high RPM in a long run.

 

i can do it for u guys at 20 bucks. just remember to come with reserve tank.

someone from the RVF international forum recommended this to me.

u can check out http://www.akhara.com and see under RVF/VFR

 

this is a mod mentioned in the NC HRC manual. and it works at top speed. it wasnt so complicated except for the petrol mess. i had a lot of petrol with not enough container.

in all the 4 cylinders, there are vacuum holes, and the one near to the fuel outlet has a vacuum hose connected to it. if after the mod, if u think u are not going to tune anytime soon, u can cut the hole shorter and seal it with a screw.

 

like my balancing was done yesterday. so the mech permantly removed the hose. the carbs are very well balanced.
