Hi Yoshi,

It's great to know that you're enjoying your brand new mod. :thumb: Hitting reserve at 200km after all the wacking sounds pretty decent and safe. The bike seems to be running like it should. It's not likely the bike is running too lean. (low on gas, high on air) Good on you~

The pivot raizin volt stabliser's something interesting you've got in your mod list. I did hear some good reviews in the market on the product helping bikes coping with current flow. Where did you buy it from?

Just curious about the modifi air box you've got there. How was the airbox actually modified? And what kind of effect did it give around your RPM range?

1. 0-4k (low)

2. 5-7k (our RVF's traditional flat spot)

3. 7-12k (power band)

4. 12k-above (top)

A pleasure hearing your views.

YO...keke...paiseh paiseh..veri veri late reply.i fix my raizen at HKL cost ard120 plus installation.more stable engine noise, slight diff in response...and the air box was been cut as u know the intake vents was removed, and the rear of the air box dat face the rider sit was also removed.there u haf a drinking sound, low rpm is quite loud..most of the time other bikes will sure take a peep cos sound funny mah.mid range quite gd..free flow of air,for ex. if u in 2nd gear u start to ride, few sec will pick up liao...liddat nia..not veri special or veri much in gain expect the sound part.oh ya...the filter dirty veri veri fast.dats the effect u haf to bear if u wan sound..:lovestruck: :cheer: :cheer:

so you removed the rubber piece sticking out of the airbox that acts as the intake? you also cut the rear of the airbox? it really works? but your kenso kit is stage 2 correct? i think the factory pro one is stage 1..

i just took out the rubber piece from the airbox initially, but it felt weird, i had better luck with the stock airbox (i had two.. so experiment lor..) and.. its kinda weird cause it ALSO felt better with my stock (tong-ed) exhaust even though i had it tuned in sync with the yoshi cyclone..

but no more deep bass sound!

i dont have a dyno.. so no choice swap here and there experiement lor.. too bad i dont know how to tune the carbs

what tachi told me was very true, the shape of the airbox's intake affects alot. the way the air goes in to the airbox WILL affect performance some. you get 'turbulance', and thats never good. i feel that honda made the rubber piece in front that shape for a reason, and at high speeds, the air is forced into the airbox.

well hope yall know what im trying to say. maybe we could fabricate one ourselves, thats just abit bigger than the stock.. i doubt we really need THAT much air to go in... but maybe im wrong..

Hi guyz,

I agree with what Filbert said on the drilled/self-modified airboxes. Anyways, the so called K&N filters are self-made. K&N doesn't make filters for the NC35 now. Here's the link at 400Greybikes. There're still lots of other interesting threads on this topic. Bon Appetite~. :hungry:

" Paul, no air tray, nor air box mods with gazillion of holes or like Todd's allowed in Superstock. These open air box designes wouldn't work on NC35 anyway as NC35's carb is designed to work with a closed air-box unlike the NC30's. "
