hmm, now everyone wants to bend around. just to let u guys know a slight bad feeling i had when turning.

i using bt 010 160/60 for the back. 1 time, i cornering chialat chailat. then i felt the black slipping off. the immediate reaction was to jerk the handle bar to prevent it from slipping further.

what i am saying is sometimes, ur footrest doesnt touch the floor. but the tyre get s burned till the edge

Don't just break your laptimes, SHATTER them!!

damn. thats kinda dangerous. imho, better not play on singapore roads, you wont know what to expect in some corners, some leaves or maybe even a can (wow just like andy lau). best if you wana do these stuff just go down pg for a track session one day.

im using 160/60 also for my rear, never ever reached the edge thou, even when my footpegs scraped the ground already. maybe your bike is a wee bit higher? *shrugs*

ride safe guys, even once is enough..

Hi Ambasnakeman,

The cheese prata shop is fine. They make great pratas. Maybe you can organise the next outing? hee~ :hungry:

However, on heading to 2nd Link. For a blast I'm guessing? It might not be a wise thing to do with your current set of tyres. Heard about your earlier complains.

Just some friendly advice. Do yourself a favour, forget the Oxygen sensor, the Rearsets, the airbox and fancy mods.

Maybe whatl you really need are good fresh rubber. Let’s be honest, how much difference are the mod really gona make to your riding?

Some food for though for everyone.

need ur guys opinion on this........cant really decide

i have a dented left brake disc. the oem is aroun 260. i rather run the bike on 1 disc. however, filbert found out for me that k&t got sell second hand 1 disc at 130. which i think is ok.

then, http://www.mugen571.com, online reseller quoted me 90US(150 sing) for BOTH discs. according to him, these were used disc that were removed when their bike was modded to fit a bigger disc.

he actually sent me pics of the disc. they are clean, however, it is not noticable if it is warped. he told me they are perfect discs with a great deal of thickness left.

i really dont know if i should get from mugen571 or k&t.

what would u guys suggest.

my galfriend is asking me not to change the discs or i will end up doing stoppies everywhere. dumb gal.

i need serious comments here.

when the brake disc is warped, it wont be smooth breaking. handle bar will be jerking especially for hard breaking.

it feels like breaking and let go. ur bike jerks as well. the break lever will actually go in and out by itself. enough power to force the lever out at the warped part.

hey filbert, u want me to attempt to do a stoppie with a warped FRONT disc and wheelie with a worn out clutch.

i must have been crazy to do a stoppie that day and it would have been impossible to do a wheelie.

the thing i hate about doing a stoppie is the nasty bang when the back tyre reaches the floor.

for wheelie not so bad. i adjusted the fork to be quite hard. so it lands quite all right.

by the way guys, dont misunderstand that i do a wheelie like 20 lamp post or something. the most i ever did at orchard road was 3 lamp post.

i poppped it and open full throttle to maintain. and i cant do it everytime
