For tiptop condition bike, in the morning mean when u leave ur bike for more than 10 hours, 1 or 2 pust start will able start properly.

 

For normal condition bike. It's normal that in the morning u need to push start couples of time and might in need to pulling ur choke. that is normal.

but after riding and parked at the parking lot. few hours later. e.g. 4-5 hours. it should not be having the same problem where u will find it hard to crank start like in the morning.

 

Then u should ask a mechanic to check out ur bike.

 

It's not normal to have crank start problem after riding and parked for 3-5 hours and having difficulties to crank start.

I just hope my RVf don't see this....... but i don't have the problem as you desbribed.... I parked for 2 hrs..., push start once...

parked for 12 hrs...push start once..

Even parked for 24 hrs or more...also push start once....

 

now..entering 72 hrs...bike sleep at home...raining these few days..go by car instead.. shall see if it still start once...

haha. ur's is belong to the 1st pharagraph that i wrote -tiptop condition then. with just 1 or 2 crank start and u be able to get ur baby moving.

 

Mine is only morning needs to crank start abit few more times. the problem came after my 1st accidnet. need to retify the problem. but it's consider minor therefore up till now still no action taken.

 

My RVF will be so jealous if it's saw this!

mine is 0 crank start as far as i can remember...

Mine actually also crank 1-2 time can start..but die off after that .. lol so i need to maintain abit of trottle to keep it alive!

danzi, as long as press 1 or 2 times can start then throttle awhile then nt bad liao but if let say like after start liao u trottle or rev for like about 5s then let go but it still die then maybe something wrong lo, could be carb or plug or whatever other mystery which we dunno. Eh i think bring the bike to bike shop to check it out asap and to tell the mechanic how u wan the bike to be then let him do it till the standard u wan lo. Try to bring to K&T, bikeworkz or planet motor ba..... I only can say for interior problem, it best to bring to k&t as more of us here would agree

hahaha lousy bike. lol. my bike turn on ignition press den start liao. no matter how cold the most crank 2times auto start le. i never pull choke before. hahaha :p

ur problem sounds exactly like mine.. if u read a few pages back, i also asked fellow rvf'ians abt it.. got it solved at planet. suggest u go bikeshop and consult mechanic. also ask him for advice whether is there a need to do top overhual. like chun said, bike nothing wrong, dun waste money..
