Hi all, I'm thinking to upsize my dragstar's oem size, from:

a) Front 100/90/19 to 110/80/19,

b) Rear 170/80/15 to 180/70/15.

Where to get, had checked with Rosli, specially the front, he said don't have for the usual suspects like Dunlop, Bridgestone & Metzeler, etc. Think he might not have source hard enough   , as I know the some BMW's front size is 110/80/19, don't tell me only PML sells such size for front?

Anybody already using such upsize? Where to get locally?

Thanks and regards.

are u sure there is a 180 size for 15" rear rim?? from what i know.. most 180s and 190s are sportsbike tires... most also 17" rims.. some 18"... but for a 15" i dun think so...

dragstar u were saying?? ,,... wanna upgrade your front tire to 170?? wahhahaha... can be done.. bike fest guys will know

I called up Kelvin From Unique, there's 110/80/19 - Bridgestone battle wing, but no rear for 180/70/15. Rosli said no such front size, but Met. has 180/70/15.

If really can't find the desire size from the same make/model, then might have to use bridgestone for front and Met. for rear. From internet, such sizes are more available, but not locally, guess market too small for crusier....

Regards.

I think it's not he never source hard enough, it's only that there's only that few standard tyres in the market. He should know since he gets his tyres from distributors and he's gone thru so many different tyres. Look at the range of Kruzer bikes that go to his shop. hee. Even the off roads one not much. Again supply and demand.

BMW's front is it off road tyres?

Why not use rear tyres for front? That'll jack it up a lot and more options. Bigger rears, I'm not sure man.

Maybe you can drop by Chong Aik and Powerwheel or Powerbronze (forgot what's the shop name) and Motorworld and go recce a bit? Nothing like a little window shopping to fill your day :p

Bro, got bike fest coming up?

Ridin' through this world

All alone

God takes your soul

You're on your own

The crow flies straight

A perfect line

On the devil's path

Until you die~
