hey fellow impulsarians, got an impulse finally ! was wondering if any of u fellas have replaced your original KYB suspension? mine is worn and bottoming out when riding with a pillion, any reccomendations?

 

Hi brother. I replaced mine with a reconditioned Ohlins that cost me $700. Really really changed the riding feelings and comfort. Check Ohlin brand out.

Today S750WP just helped me to add the bypass circuit and switch for radiator fan so that I can ON it anytime, and fixed the leaking radiator hose. Great job and thank you !

Hello Impulse Riders!

I'm new on the forum.I'd like to buy an Impulse 400.These Japanese 400 "classic" style nakeds are so nice...the European bikes are so boring and ugly... It is strange why the manufacturers don't sell these in Europe...

Is it possible that the bike is from 1998 (check link) This red/black painting Impulse is some kind of a special edition bike?The seller says it has ran 46.000 kilometers...The saddle looks like 100.000...

Yesterday S750WP helped me to adjust the clutch position and lubricate clutch cable.

Now no more strain and pain on my left palm, which i thought was due to my slightly higher saddle

Also took out the carburetor to put back the idling bolt which I accidentally unscrewed it out.

 

Anyone looked for S750WP to tune your impulse yet?

You can save $$$ compared to going to bike shop.

Nice impulse there with the after-market exhaust.

It is a very durable workhorse for long distance.

Easy to access the spark plugs without taking the fuel tank off.

Fuel economy at 23-25 km/litre.

if i am not wrong, super 4 end can can attach? need to customise the midpipe and bolts also right? not cheap if its from seng kwang, although good quality.

A lot of difference. ohlins is one of the best brands for shocks and you pay more it. But i got no regrets for forking out the cash.

I replaced mine from Mah motors opp Sim Lim Tower, because the ex owner replaced one of the footpeg with a odd one and it looks weird, they have a collection of old spare parts if not can look for it from scrap yard.
