Saw a fierce looking guy wearing full armor jacket and riding a cool bike coming turning towards me.. it was after then I notice its an impulse.. lolz.

ok, have a problem tat was dogging me for months.. Intermitted poor response, plugs too rich, too much carbon within a few days, no power at times in the range of 6k-7k rpm..

 

Was really fustrated. Wash carbs, change plugs, the usual.. still no go. Last week, was at ubi area. So drop down to Guan Hoe for a quick check. After saying all the problems, he said, change the plugs and air filter, but he no stocks for air filter...

 

End of the day, change plugs. Went to suzuki agent near ah boy shop, and got a air filter ard $27. Went back, took out my air filter, omg.. its dirt covered. Then I remembered.. I change the engine old, plugs, oil filter all at correct timing.. but forgot to change air filter!!

 

Now, its a blast to ride again! shiok. Can feel the power of the bike really pulling away.

Sayang... you could have gotten a customised K & N air filter at Mah Motors opp Sim Lim Tower.

Theres no OEM K&N AF specially for Impulse, so they will use the old AF housing and put in K&N element.

i got K&N for my XT600 this way n they did a good job. Plus the K&N AFwilll last you for a long long time cos can wash.

reading from the review u gave , i change my air filter .( dun know how much an k&n air filter cost ) original suzuki air filter form ah kun $33.00

 

 

now feel my bike can breath better . . . .

my old filter even have dead insects in it . . . .
