If you have had 0 offences you can try and appeal if you have a legit reason for beating the red light. Maybe chased by a crocodile or king cobra kinda stuff... They might consider your case and see if they can accept it. 

you can check how many points was deducted. if you have 2A likely you can collect 24 points. But once you get 24 points. U will lose all your license. You points will be returned back to full 1 year after your LAST offence. Meaning if you speed say 6 months down the road. You have a total of 15 points... You need to wait ANOTHER year from that last offence of speeding before you can get back ALL the points. 

I only have class 2A & 2B.and my 2A is less than a year old.do i have 24 points or 12 points?if i have 12 points,thats mean for traffic light offence it is 12 demerit points plus $400 fine.so i have zero point left.can i still ride with zero point?

appeal confirm can.. but all depending on your past offence and the appealing officer who's handling your case..

you still have 12 points after deducting la.. Don't worry..

Unless you get a new class like Class 2B or 3.. (4 and 5 so far no people to test, so unable to confirm) LOL..

if it's within the same vehicle range (2 wheelers or 4 wheelers), no deduction back to 12 points.. see below link

gotten information from someone else. but at least it's more safe to say..

You got 0 points now.. so still can ride/drive.. but don't break any traffic rules from the last day of offence.. else.. at least your 2A license will be gone..

Hi, im a class 2B rider, just passed in june dis year. I nid help, i was riding along dis road, i alrd notice the speed limit was 50 and there was a camera. So i alrd brought my speed to at least 40. But den i got a cramp on my leg and i got distracted and didnt see the yellow light. In the end, i  pass a red light and i saw the flash. Does dat mean i will get a demerit and will my license be revoked?

12 demerit points + $400. Probation rider has 13 points.Deduction of 12 points,u have 1 point left.Still can ride but ride safely.Any offence after your first offence,licence revoked.

But how will i know if i hav a demerit points, is it they update thru singpass? Dis kind of thing can appeal?

Confuse is right... so.. no matter what.. must stop upon reaching traffic light.. be it leg cramp or stomachache..

Unless you rushing to hospital for any emergency reasoning (life or death situation) and can be debated.. (I heard even if TP is there, will help you open road to the hospital)

can appeal.. but 90% wun go thru.. imagine mine was 4 points.. I appealed for 6 months.. still never pass thru..

Check here lo... digitally faster. If got summon coming this one will show first. after 2-3 weeks still nothing then prob not your problem liao. Sometimes the camera abit gila one... anyhow snap...
