Today was good, if not for the intermittent crappy weather.

It was nice meeting most of you guys, especially the group that I travelled with on the trip to PG this morning.

Rakz, Wen Gege: Good to see more interested folk on the track. Do learn up on the cornering techniques so that fear can be overcome and that you would know what to expect approaching a turn.

PuteraBrothers: I've accepted your "never give up, that's the spirit!" praise but I do consider this to be quite normal for somebody to be very interested in track.

Put it this way, I should be looking up to you as an elder. You've got a lot of riding years under your belt but you wanna go to track to take on a whole different level of riding altogether. I should call you a riding sifu and should approach you on how to ride on the roads, man :thumb:

...those MY and SG drivers keep on cutting and driving recklessly and it's damn irritating, if not dangerous

diamond_crust: Some tyres do slide, and it can sometimes be a fearful annoyance, especially when one's speed increases inside a turn. Since you were interested in joining us for track on a different kind of bike, here's my suggestion: If you are willing to "push," you can do so up to the point where the tyre just begins to slide. Just remember, when the slide happens though, don't snap shut the throttle -- big newbie mistake to do so!! Just control and ease out the throttle until it stops.

It'll be good experimentation for you everytime you head to track ;)

Seeya guys at our own thread (you should know which one), and hopefully for more track sessions ;)

P.S.: If I owe any one of you money, do approach me the next time we meet. Don't hire a loanshark or a hitman to hunt me down mkay? :giddy:

Nice meeting you too bro.. Thanks for the advise too.. Was really fun today, hope there will be another session soon.. See yar ard!! :thumb:

I was on a red & white 400cc bike, w/o the front license plate.

The "odd one out," so to speak

How about you? Think I missed out on you though...

redbeacon, were you the one riding the RVF? Don't think you were the odd ball, there was a s4 rider. So 2 400cc mah. Yesterday, I also saw a couple of near crashes due to some riders changing linings abruptly along the straights and corners. That was my observation yesterday, not pin-pointing anyone here, but just saying that safety is very important. Just my opinion.

Wen gege, were you riding the yellow k5 with G.P.R pipe?

Yep, I was on my RVF, and Wen Gege was on his yellow and black Gixxer, dubbed "bumblebee".

You know guys, I should have recommended you to come for today's trackday...the weather was brilliant today...sun and wind. But not good as crosswinds actually altered my lines a lot and it gave me such a shock :giddy:

To the fella on that white Yamaha R1 (think it's year 02) who crashed at the first turn yesterday Wednesday, hope you're alright.

You seemed to have had suffered a mild shock because of that. Hope your injuries are but just minor ones.

Here's wishing you a speedy recovery dude!

Turn 1 @ the apex exit to back straight was where my rear gave way.. pay respect to this humble corner coz it may look decent but has been making homes for some of the finest racers that have come a long way..
