guys and gals, i've got something to share.

this info should be good for old bikes.

see the gear lever the area circled in green?

i had noticed rust coming out of the assy for some time and decided to open up and see wat caused the rust...

inside the assy after u remove the screw, its a roller assy with 2 oil seals.

the rust comes from the roller.

so, i stripped the assy, cleaned it and greased the assy and replaced everything back to its original position.

actually wat surprise me was that the gear shifting was so smooth after the applying grease to the assy.

for those new bikers to s4 who are having gear shifting problems, u guys and gals might wana try to get this done.
