u mean the black patch across the middle of the tank? i think tis bike has been here for quite some time but i've yet to c it on the road.

All I know this is a sweet ride..... Machine is ard $21k - $22k.... quite ok for a duke........

ya.. the fuel tank area... :p is the 696 smallest monster cc series after 400?

 

it's 1cc bigger than the previous Ducati Monster 695. :cheeky:

isn't this suppose to have a single side swingarm, instead of a conventional one??

 

one of the reason if i had the money for a duke is for it's beautiful swingarm..

it seems that the tank u see is a tank cover, which is removable. maybe is to house the air-intake and able to change colour easily.
