My Accessories is minimum compare to old timers such as Anodise. :angel:He's the one you should look into if you want to see what you can put on your Wee.

teasing no one here bro... im just saying abt myself n those whu hv the same height as me. dont make it the height is the issue. we hv to adapt n compromise here n there... :) tats how we learnt our own bike. but nevertheless.. its a gd advantages to hv the height la like u n others... wen offroad, no need to worry... cheeers!!

 

Height not really an issue when it comes to riding lah. I intend to spend more time riding than pushing it.

Pushing it reverse can be done easily when dismounted. Anyway Wee is lighter than my previous ride, Blackbird.

To e riders of WEEs and VEEs... i will be trying to start a new brand for accessories base on mainly our bikes.

 

Currently designing mirror extenders, adjustable handlebar risers, rear brake master guard and skid plates.

 

U can still contact me for the carbon fibre front fender extenders and will be launching the adjustable windscreen brackets soon, after i get the actually costing.

 

if you need something, but u can find it in the market, let me know. We can work things out, who know it can benefit other riders. There is never an idea that is stupid!

 

anyone have an idea who can i go to for aluminum welding. this's e hiccup i'm currently facing for the prototype for the skid plate.

 

Good job. Can PM me the cost list for ur stuff. Will ask around where can do alu weld too.

hi guys, currently i am having issues with my wee and would like to ask if you guys had this symptom before and what is the remedy for it. I am not riding the wee at this moment and intending to bring to a workshop soon.

 

Here are the issues that i am having right now

1) Bike no power. can start and move but very slow acceleration and speed. Can rev up to 5k rpm but it looks like it is running on one cyclinder.

2) Petrol smell on the bike exhaust end. Quite noticeable

3) Bike temperature indicator very slow in reaching the normal operating (3 bars)- Even after 10 minutes riding, it is still at 2 bars

 

2-3 weeks before i have the same issue and went to the nearest bike shop. The mechanic whack the throttle and the bike remedy by itself. Now it happened again and i tried whacking the throttle but to no avail.

 

Do you guys happened to have the above symptoms? Please share on the possible root cause and recommended remedies. Thanks.

 

Btw, do you know where the temperature sensor is located? Thanks again for sharing this.

I'm not sure if wee is same as vee but for myself on vee:

 

Problem No.1

- Check e rubber boot on the throttle body is secured. If this baby popped out its symptom most likely like u described. Noisy and irregular fart sound.

- Change spark plug.

- Check Throttle body sync (TBS)

 

Problem No2

- If I find remedy for problem 1, most probably fuel smell from e can seize. If not check with mech.

 

Problem No3

-If I were to look for vee radiator Temperature sensor, its on the right side of the radiator and if right plastic shroud is removed u can easily see and access to it. I think its the same a Wee.

 

- I think normal operating temp is 2 bars coz 3 will be too high(radiator fan activate, means too hot). Not sure though.

But I follow this. The bike must stay cool to look cool. Chewbakka's law.hehe.

 

Or u can go to mech to check. Best go for someone who knows his stuff like Guan Hoe, Meng Tong, etc.... Btw anyone know where Meng Tong works now? Wanna check my valve adjustment.

Sounds like 1 cylinder down ^_^ (hopefully jus spark plug)

jus spray water over the header exiting the engine block.... 1 should be cool... Jus try to touch briefly will be able to tell.

Can I list down ur upcoming project for references.

 

1. Windshield Adjuster

2. Mirror Extender

3. Skid plate

 

Im quite interested in the windshield adjuster and mirror extender. For mirror extender, possible to have a additional mount for Camera? hee that will be great...

 

Hmm guys...why dont u chip in what u crave for our strom...be it already in the market or not...

Maybe Tank3e can do the cheaper version..it will only benefits all of us :cheeky:

Check if there is any non-firing on one of your cylinders like what anodise mentioned. Run the bike for a while and throw abit of water / spray WD40 at the header. Pretty obvious if one cylinder is not firing.

 

Had a similar experience on my previous bike - SV650. Replaced the ignition coil and things are back to normal.

tks for e praises! making money is a secondary concern... but watching bikers enjoying their rides with my accessories is a priceless pleasure!

 

currently in the designing stage

1. mirror extenders (thinking of making how to make it adjustable)

will work on the camera mount. call u soon to c what u exact need!

 

2. doing measurements for the skid plate.

 

3. redesigning our rear brake master pump cover for better all round

protection be it going off road or normal road riding

 

 

so far these are the thing that is going through my mind!

 

making boxes and racks is my ULTIMATE dream. but if u wan it in ur dimension i can try doing it. the only thing is muz go to ur bike take physical photos and dimensions also most importantly the kind of rack u use and how to mount it on.

Thanks alot for sharing the possibilites. Yesterday, i bring it to the nearest workshop to change the plugs. Use the water spray method before that but found that wee has only one header outlet. Couldnt trace if one of the cyclinders is not firing. As usual, the bike is underpowered on the way there but suddenly it went back to normal halfway through. I can feel the power again.

 

However i still changed the plugs and found the rear one to be darker than the front. I think it is probably because of the plugs. I checked the temperature sensor connector and it is right on place. Started the bike and it went back to normal. However the temperature bar is still slow to reach the normal 3 bars.

 

This morning i rode it and found it to be normal too. Next check would be on the tps with constant monitoring on the power of the bike.

Bob, your bike is using an after market exhaust so I thing u should got for TBS to check the settings. I remember your previous owner saying something about the bike power.

 

Although most shop can service the Vee/Wee, for some reason I do think some mechanics are better than others. (No human is the same right? Everyone have their own character.)

 

Probably you might want to try others, hopefully it will solved your problem.

Just my 2 cents, hope I'm not offending anyone.

Using Motech...have alot of potential holes that can be use to custom mount :cheers:

Hi Mafitra, nice to see that you are still active in the thread. With the intend of the further helping Bob, I will list some thoughts and actions, contributing as a legacy owner. My earlier comments about the power on the bike is more towards lacking preference for the abrupt power delivery of the remus exhaust than any significant loss of power issue as mentioned by Bob. I changed to iridium plugs 10k km ago, and these are supposed to last for 40k. I did a TBS clean and sync, added K&N filter, replace coolent and change engine oil about a month before Bob took over. Since the bike was running well before and after the TBS, its not likely the exhaust and setting mismatch issue. Look elsewhere, or bring it back to Bike and Scooter where i did all the last tbs etc. No offence intended and non taken, cheers.
