errr... doing 170-200km/hr on NSH for about 50km & the rest (29km) are city riding with stops & go (changing gears @ 4-4.5k rpm).

what FC are u getting?

 

City riding in singapore (till 350km) used to get 17.5-18.5km/l...

Cruising at 120-140km/h for 200km+ can get 21km/l...

Constant 180-200km/h for 200km+ getting 14-15km/l...

 

Hard riding try doing fraser hill up n down or MHS....2nd - 4th gear only..

 

Many factors that will affect your FC...the major things that can affect ur FC are proper TBS, fuel injection valve or secondary throttle (sometimes never open fully especially if you have tempered with it before), loose throttle boots, clutch plate slipping, tensioner, not done valve clearance after 50k..........and other smaller issues like tyres, plugs, type of fuel............

Meetup at 10pm cashcard booth...

 

 

Also we will be applying MACS (Malaysian Automated Clearance)

After applying this u wont need to fill in anymore white cards and no more stamp needed for entry in and out of Malaysia.

so is that the problem??

 

Well, Clifford said that my steering head bearing wears off little, partly cause this problem. Next time, when i go for long journey, i will change it. At this moment, not so serious.

Just to clarify if this applies to all borders of malaysia...

inclusive of airports, land borders of malaysia-thailand...?

Cheif as far as I know it only applies to SIngapore Malaysia Border Only.

You can get the form from there also.

 

Basically this only applies on land vehicle entering/returning from/to Woodlands Checkpoint and 2nd Link.

btw guys if you digital clock keeps resetting itself , it may be an indicator that the battery is kaput-ting time to change new one

Thanks for all the kind advises ! Unfortunately my battery just kapo today! only after 1 day out from the shop I bought ! Bought a battery at $120 ! #^#%!@# expensive but no choice, cos no battery no startup !

 

Btw, where is knt cliford ? I got tons of doubt on my bike. I need a specialist doctor !
