Talking bout good FC

Besides NC700x (but low torque), Vstorm 650 is 1 of the best all rounder for commuting and touring...

Easy on pocket ^_^

 

I do agree. I wanted to get 1 but seeing e current price is like out of my budget. I juz went loois motor last week. 1 new vstrom cost 23k!!! Damn ex. If its ard 18k. Would have consider it..

23k is absurd for a 600/650. Strongly incline to believe theres mark up forces at work. AD don't bring in? whats their price?

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Based on shop profit % of 40%, PI bikes like GSR4 should be 18-19k & Strom 650 around 19-20k. OTR

Haha... no lah, I not shrewd enough, how to open shop.? Bike shop owners don't get to drive luxury cars for being sincere and honest people...

Maybe should start a sticky thread where all riders can post their OMV as indicated on their COEs. Then we will all know the profit margins of the various bikes & know which shop is pulling a fast one.

 

Rightfully, following the PI theory of cars, ....PI is almost always cheaper for the same model/cc because

 

1) No warranty from factory

2) No need to maintain big & nice office space. (high rental & overheads)

 

But based on Honda, Yamaha AD prices in SG, if visit euro website = x 2.5+ u get SG price OTR. USA site = x 3+ u get SG price OTR.

So, from there 1 can make a rough gauge of how much ur being ripped off relative to Honda/Yamaha AD prices in SG.
