Hi guys. How do I do a proper turning? I always got sharp and wide turning on my previous circuit assessment

your eye point must look far ahead into Lane 2 as you turn.

Update just passed prac 7 and doing rtt on 10aug! Hopefully can book TP on 24aug!

If you were in the 24th Aug batch, you are in the same test group as me!

Unexpectedly high passing rate that day, I think more than 40 riders passed

Hi guys, can I seek some advice. In the circuit, after I stop at the STOP line, do I always need to check traffic by looking left, right and left again before I check back to move?

Yup, check traffic and then check back before moving. Plus a blind spot checking before turning. I usually try not to stop really close to the stop line, so I can move off and have ample time to do an "obvious blind spot check" before the turn.

Unfortunately by the time i passed my rtt,the 24th aug slot was full! So i took the 31st aug and passed on first try! Passing rate on that day was 80%!!!! 40/50 people passed haha

Yes! Passed my tp test today on my first time. Gotten quite bad result of 18 demerit points but so long as I had passed! :). Total duration rough estimate : 3 months

Thanks to all those who had helped me through these times by replying me! Definitely been a great help!

Hi all, im new to this forum. but quick question,

For lesson 6 at ssdc- isit do both circuit and road lesson?

and isit where the instructor follows you on the road?

Hi DanOrc. For Lesson 6 in SSDC it is all about your road test route. And yes the instructor definitely will follow you on the road. Remember all the traffic rules and the same thing don't do wide U-Turn, never stop at stop line, check your blind spots etc and you should be able to pass this. I could be wrong as you maybe given time to do practice in circuit as different instructors had different expectation. Good luck and have fun!

2 rounds of road test route - first they go through your mistake with u.. 2nd round they will see if you got any improvement.

most imptly, whether you rmb your test routes, safety check, road regulations and if you react correctly to the traffic lights. Good luck!

Enrolled in Nov!

Had my first practical lesson on 11th Nov.

Passed on the fourth try on 21st Nov.

Awaiting my second practical lesson tomorrow.

Hoping to clear this in 2 lessons.

Had zero experience in handling a manual bike, only automatic.

Hoping to clear Practical 2 before Nov ends!

Welcome!

I also enrolled in April '17 at SSDC. Managed to get license in mid-June after going about 3 times a week continuously.

Half a year and 2 great bikes later...here I am.

Ride safe and enjoy the breeze!

I need help.. have tried for 2B Prac 5 but still stuck after failing 5 times. Any tips on U-turn?

I'm pretty afraid when there's red light and you have to stop at stop line. Once traffic turns green, you have to move a little , bend right and stop in line with the kerb. My right foot will drop and left leg tends to tap tap tap .. Anyone can help?

Hmm, perhaps you are very stiff when handling the bike. For U-turn, be mindful of your speed before stopping and clutch control, a bit too fast and you have the tendency to brake harder to stop and lose balance. Try to keep yourself relax and be confident. Go for more circuit revision before going for prac 5 and inform the instructor you want to practice more on U-turn.
