Crap, thats hella quick! Wish I were like you but in the end we both got what we wanted - the licence!

What bike did you get? Im planning to get one as well but looking at some options, i like street bikes more than sports bike for some reason...

I got a Duke 200.

Prefer streetbikes or scooter. Sportsbike give me backache and I cannot ride for long in the awakward position.

Going for Class 2A soon!

I need help.. have tried for 2B Prac 5 but still stuck after failing 5 times. Any tips on U-turn?

I'm pretty afraid when there's red light and you have to stop at stop line. Once traffic turns green, you have to move a little , bend right and stop in line with the kerb. My right foot will drop and left leg tends to tap tap tap .. Anyone can help?

my thoughts: try not to use the hand brake too much. Use foot brake only for the action you mention above and see if it helps.

The principal behind this is that the hand brake gives too much braking force and throws you off-balance and slows you down too much/fast. Thus your right foot will drop.

Hi everyone,

I'm a super noob here and I've just enrolled online for my membership (I've not even visited the centre yet) :/

I've got a class 3 license and I read somewhere that I can be exempted from BTT. If so, am I allowed to apply for PDL only after attending theory lessons 1-4 or can I do it before? I see the timetable for Rider Theory 5 and 6 only - what happen to lesson 7 (is it no longer available)?

How soon after completing Rider Theory (5-7?) can I book my evaluation and TP test?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi guys,

I want to ask about SSDC. Does ppl sell slots often? I often park online and refresh several times a day, but i dont see anyone selling slots. Then again i cant wait too long otherwise i cant even book the earliest available date.

Is there a tip for this?

I am now getting my practicals once every 5 days..........(i can only take 8pm slot on weekday, and weekend full slots), and its kinda slow for me.

Cheers

I just passed both practical 1and 2 from trysell slot. What I discovered was that trysell slot appeared from using phone but not from the kiosk. So do take note. I discovered after my 0 orientation ended and me n other students went down to the kiosk to book practical 1. And I was lazy to use the kiosk n log in thru phone. So many said the latest practical is on Wednesday but I said no!!! the latest is on Monday. Only then we realized the kiosk didn't display the trysell slot. Correct me if I'm wrong but this was what I experienced.

Also, as you are using phone too I think for trysell slot is pure luck.

Hi there. If I am not wrong Practical 4 for SSDC is the internal circuit assessment? What your mistakes? Is it the way you check you blindspots? Wobble too much? During your circuit revision, ask the instructor or any instructors for advice on how to improve etc. Good luck!

What time is your session tomorrow? :)

I am having my Lesson 3.1 tomorrow also

I think for the Crank course and S Course, the key is to accelerate and change to 2nd gear at a comfortable timing and keep the eye points of the cones and not the kerbs...

For E-brake, try to drag your 1st and 2nd gear initially then change to 3rd gear and maintain at 30km/h - 35km/h, this is the tricky part because we must still maintain the eye point looking up.

Hi all,

Class 2B is quite a long journey. I must say it is probably the hardest class to get among all. Ironically. At least for me, who is not a natural rider. Try not to think far first, else you will be in pain like me. Every practical i go, i initially expect to clear 1-2 times, and slowly realize, all my practicals took 3-5 times. If i knew from the start, i might not even have started this journey, but at least, im almost completing now.

i believed some practicals are planned for you to fail from the start, and unless you perform really well. Otherwise the plan stays. And usually they will find ways to fail you. Only practical 4 and 7 , both assessment, are more properly judged.

Lets put it this way.....they will normally fail 1st timers.

Good now you are at prac 6. I'm at prac 5 bro, which i Failed at my 1st attempt. Good luck bro. Now busy can't take my lesson maybe early November then I start taking it again.

Since you have embarked on this journey, don't ever turn back. You will get there one day!

Doesn't matter how long you take. It's only a matter of time.

Except for prac 6, other pracs i took at least 3 tries. I was working full-time as well and could only attend lessons during the weekends. Took me like 9 months due to some breaks, but at least these exp in the end make the passing of tp at the 1st attempt worth it.:p

Hi guys

I enrolled to SSDC on 24 June 2018 and progress has been rather slow as i'm quite a clumsy rider & slow learner....

As the validity period is only for 1 year, what will happen when it expires and I still not at that stage to get TP test yet?

Do i start all over again from Lesson 1 ? or I can renew and continue from where I am?

Thanks for any reply.

Don't worry. 2-3 months before expiry, SSDC will notify you via email. It will also inform you about the option to extend your learning period for another 6 months.
