Just got my 2B license recently. I would like to try out riding on Singapore roads for a bit before fully committing to own a bike.

What is cheaper and easier? Renting for a month? Buying a used motorcycle and selling it a month later? Buying a motorcycle that is near the end of it's COE?

Any advice? Thanks

rent a few bikes over a few weeks to know fuel consumption and know whether u like this lifestyle

once ok, u buy ur first bike, but buy a 2nd hand... easier and cheaper.

for helmet, please do not save. invest in a good helmet. and a sturdy pair of gloves.

I will say everytime ride, please wear good shoes and jeans too.

Rental? Stark Holdings.

I might be damn late by now. But whatever you do OP, don't follow this suggestion. Stark Holdings has......a reputation of sorts.

I'm even later but for others who are thinking of renting, I totally agree with Bro reize.. Pay a bit more by going reputable places like BHH or Unique.. The last thing you want is a bad experience, especially when you are trying out riding..
