Nuvi is designed for car, so it's not waterproof.

 

Honestly, I find the handheld Garmin GPS have more powerful features than the Nuvi/Zumo. The handheld GPS display is more configurable although it's a bit small. Till the Garmin Colorado becomes more affordable, my favorite is still the 60CSx.

 

Should you want to buy from Radio Shack, go for the 200W, it's only USD300 . It's the same as the Nuvi200 but with a Wide (bigger) screen.

Hi guys,juz bought a Garmin 60c from a fellow forumer.A good deal i muz say.Still brand new somemore.Now studying the manual....wahlau so many function need to memorise.. Do i need to register the gps unit before downloading the maps?

If you have mapsource, it will acquire your unit's ID. June 2007 maps are free and downloadable; but later maps you have to contribute to Malsingmaps and then provide your unit's ID to get unlock key.
