Can someone give me the coordinates to Kulai Nasi Lemak.Tot of going tomolo nite.Thnx..:)

Anyway i need to UPDAte my maps. Anyone knows where can update as in shops??

 

which country map u looking for...

 

to update map in shop they will sell you the not updated SD card...

 

Only with malsing can get the lastest map...

Singapore Maps and Malaysia Maps. I went to the Malsing but no one replies to me at all on unlocking. Went to Jerome website and donated he also never reply me... Now the shop that sell me the GPS is really outdated. Went around to see how accurate and i can pass the speed cam before it shows in the map.....

Give him at least 3 days. Heard he is on holiday.

 

Now the shop that sell me the GPS is really outdated.

 

Which is outdated, the GPS, the shop, or the map ?

 

The shop only sells you the GPS, if they load malsing maps in the unit, it's a bonus. The current version "Free" malsingmap is Jan 2008, and the "Locked" version is Apr 2008, so the difference is negligible. Check what version is the map in your GPS.

 

Went around to see how accurate and i can pass the speed cam before it shows in the map.....

 

You could be riding too fast :angel:

The map is outdated lah. Alot of places also cannot find....

 

First you have to let known what version are you using. Give some example of places that can't be found.

 

Second, if the buildings are only recently completed, then you have to wait till the next update for them to appear.

i am using Ver3.60. Places that cannot be found are road linking thomson to Braddel JTC. The GPS has asked me to turn left onto a road. but there is no road there at all...

am using 3.70

 

Demon. Simple. When u exit kulai. as per normal hw u go there makan. but first traffic light, u turn right. the traffic light is very long when it is in red. at least a min plus. U will see a big sign say seng kang on ur left

Murphy can advise me how to update to ur version. I understand that it is the latest version that u are using right now. But the mapsource that i have not to mention the map that i dl is locked.

Hi, I am very new to this GPS thingy..:cheeky:

 

I am looking forward to purchase an GPS unit for my Bike as holidays are coming up, and i wish to bring my girl to head north.. anyone can advice on which model to buy and how much it cost and where can i get it?

 

Pls explain to me in the simplest form cause i really know nuts with regards to GPS..

u nid to donate to jerome first. give him some time for him to get back to u. after which he will ask u for your Garmin Model, GPS ID. sent it o him and in return he will give u a unlock code. this code unlock all locked maps that is created by him. thus u can have locked version map

Guys Since there is quite no of GPS users in here. I would like to organise a GPS outing Session. Meet up and share info as well as map oso. Makan points in malaysia.

 

Those who do not noe abt GPS alot can meet up and get to know more. Have a feel of the GPS model and decide on which to buy after feeling. wouldn't it be benefiting for all us.

 

At the same we make new frens and share things that you might and i might not noe.

was at a handphone shop asking about handphones with GPS.... they recommended the samsung i780...mentioned and maps of many countries already downloaded into the HP and usage is free....

 

any comments??

I got the confirmation from jerome already. Now is screwed up the whole thing as my Mapsource keep telling me that "Unable to start Unlockwizard Please reinstall this program and try again. " I reinstalled alot of times already but still no avail. Anyone has this problem... I got the Lock version of 3.70 only need the unlocking code from jerome and the Stupid msg to let me unlck once i get the code.

 

The POI Can someone guide me to update too?
