I am using E71 with the weekly updated MalFreeMaps.com + MobileXT 5.30 (didn't upgrade to .40 yet), gave up on MSM a while back when MFM upgraded to have polygons and their routing ability to high-speed capabilities.

anyone using nokia E71 with Garmin Mobile XT??

Great. Looking fwd to the pics.

But wdnt the vibration be too overwhelming for the holder wic is secured using cable ties only?

Have been using this for about 3mths never disappoint me b4 cost me only $15 for the leather casing $1.20 for a pack of cable tie. Used it on my trip to melaka.

Try to use black coloured cable tie in my experience they feel and look stronger and make sure u pull the cable tie the tightest as possible...

Any further doubts can pm me....

Cheers....

My phone is protected by G-mask invinsible light rain I try b4 no problem. Heavy rain I also try but about 3km distance. But if there is still a long distance more for my trip and it rains heavily I will take cover as its dangerous. So far I find it very useful and reliable.... No need find pple bring u to places... Just the phone and you that's all u need.

Guyz I just came back from KL and there is an authorized dealer for ram-mount. They do have otter box products. I bought an otter box RM$200 with Velcro can just strap on handlebar.

But regret as I should get the ram-mount product total cost only SG$117. Looks nicer on bike too...

I got the unit for sgd430 as I did not incur shipping charges. Got a friend in states who was coming back. Anyway, I've got another friend coming back, so if you want to order the GPS, tomorrow is the last day if not US side cannot deliver to him before his flight back. sms me if you want. Yes I ordered the mount as well.

unfortunately, I cannot get the anti vibration one as my bike does not have a handlebar.

which US webbie did u buy from?

Both the Nuvi 550, and 500 are identical, the difference is in the pre-loaded maps. For usage outside USA, get the cheaper set.

The ram-mount that secures to the handle-bar is universal.

i dnt think tht's the dealer, not listed in ram-mount.com

if i'm not wrg, the shop only deals with mounts for garmin gps and not others like the pda mount requested by we_love_mods

anyway, did try to contact the email in the website, no reply at all

I guess you can just order from Amazon. I am waiting for my RAM Mount arrival next week....so excited hehehhe.

Hi guys

I did actually ask this coy, and this is wad i got from them.

Only for those intending to mount a PDA.

if we do MO and save on the postage cost, it might be cheaper than wat tht guy quote u.

might have some discounts for MO also.

i'm looking for aquabox also. i already have the extended arm with the clamp

anyway, the aquabox actually comes in a few sizes, so its possible to have a bigger one can mount those GPS tht's not waterproof
