Give them a call and check if you could still register.

Dear Bikers,

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for your support for the upcoming Singapore Big Bike Fest 2006! To date we have over 1000 registered bikers for the Bike Convoy!

However, it is with much regret that we have to postpone the BIG BIKE CONVOY to a later date due to the security concerns with regards to the IMF. We, the organizers are committed to make this happen and have already begun talks with the sponsors to put this together with possibly the help of Traffic Police.

As such, please stay tuned for the SINGAPORE’S BIGGEST BIKE CONVOY coming soon in October 2006!

We would still honor the discounted rate of $20 for the Rally Pack. Please bring your registration forms on 16th-17th September, Singapore Big Bike Fest 2006 event to enjoy this offer. The goodies in the rally pack have increased significantly, valued over $50/-!

There will still be Bike Parking at our event venue (CLARKE QUAY) if you are participating in the BEST BIKE CONTEST. So if you think you would like to show off your bike and try to win the honor of BEST BIKE, please let the parking marshals know. (limited to the 1st 150 bikes).

Let’s PARTY ON at the First Singapore Big Bike Fest 2006!

Yours truly,

SBBF Admin

Hi Guys...

For those who went , Just wondering what your impression was from the BIkeFest .

Think it was a good start for the biking community but it would have been better if there was a wider representation of bikes other than Harleys alone. Didn't see Honda's , Ducatis, BMW's , Kawa's , Scrams or even MOD sccoters there (maybe coz I left after 20 mins and headed for a beer at Brewwerks :p ). I don't blame the organisers for pushing their product cause they are the ones spending the moola but maybe it shouldn't be called the Singapore BigBike Fest then.... cause Singapores bike community sure encompasses more then just Harleys.

Cheers

Tippy

Well, we should be proud that here in squeky clean Spore, we still have ppl that go thru great length to hold such an event dude.

Kudos to HD Singapore and its affiliates & organisers  :clapping:

We all can see that the HD brand is popular bcos of its support from members and support of its chapters and HD Spore with all their original accessories.

Now, what happen to Metric Bikes? Big & small? Road/Sport/cruisers? Hmmm.......

Maybe we shuld get L.A.B to support? Hmm.....

tHINK about it.

I am sure we have no lacks of our Japanese counterpart, but why only Yamaha was there? It could probably due to a lacks of bikes from our local Japanese agents. Being a bike fest, one does see the organizer and sponsorship are mainly Harley Davidson Singapore thus; I am not entirely surprise that the remaining 3 Japanese giants are not at the scene. Two guess, lacks of cruisers for display or they are simply just not interested judging from a pre-anticipation of interests forming up for the Harleys side. People who had visited the event would have notice that Mah Pte Ltd were also there to show off their MV Augusta and Triumph (Rocket III is their main attraction ha!) but, where is their Moto Guzzi cruiser? A pre-determined of a wise decision well made? Most would have agreed that the major turn out are still the Harleys looking at the strength that comes in on Saturday. The thing is, it would have been rational for the Japanese agents to join in the fun only if bikers of their category were to attend the big event. But sad to say, only a few of the mentioned turns up and that hardly made up 50% of the Harleys who grace the event.

Let's just hope the next one gets better!
