Accident on NSH in Dec 2008

Just bought New Paper today, and its very sad to hear this story.

Apparently, for our fellow rider was riding up to Thailand with his friends.

And he may have not notice an overturned lorry on the middle and right lane of the NSH, and had colllided into it. He passed away abt after 15mins after he was carried away.

 

I've myself have been up to KL a couple of times. Late night dinner to Kulai every month or so. Its so scary becuz it can happen to any of us. Sometimes i might get a bit sleepy and tend to go faster just to wake myself up. And i know some or most riders would do the same thing. But going to fast may prevent us from reacting in time if something like this really happens.

 

Dunno if i dare to ride fast again on NSH. If i do, i think this story will always be in my head.

This could have happened to anyone of us.

 

Night riding speed should be limited to the range of the headlights, and I always highbeam if there is no traffic infront.

 

Then theres this thing called "Hantu Lorry", or ghost lorry, these trucks with not a single light behind them because they're all blown. To make things worse, some of their exhaust spews out so much smoke, it looks like a fog.

Dat is y it better to use ur highbeam when there's no vehicle in front of you.those m'sian bikers also lazy to repair a broken tail-light.Almost crashed into them during the high-speed run.

High speed run??? Bro, if you whack your Blackbird a bit more, it will engage stealth mode and turn into the Blackbird spy plane. You'll be flying over vehicles... hahahaha!!
