Pawn shops only take in items that can hold it's value over time, like gold, rolex watches. Technology items like lap tops, cameras, tv, lose their value very quickly when newer models are launched or superseded by later technology.

 

If you need cash, it's best that you sell it off now, and buy another one when your finances are sorted out.

taking a loan can backfire if you cant recover back ur feet fast enuff to pay it back.

 

the interest alone can kill you, from bank or from ah long pte ltd.

 

i suggest selling off the laptop too, else, if u have some jewellery (gold), then pawn it off to get by for now.

Yep. It's not the pawn shops that you would want to go to ewanSpec3, but here are other options you may consider:

 

1. The many laptop repair shops on the upper levels of Sim Lim Square, or any other computer repair shops.

2. Flip over to either the Straits Times or The New Paper classifieds. Plenty of ads posted up with people seeking for computers and electronic items in exchange for cash.

3. Cash Converters (as the last resort)
