a friend of mine bought a Sunglass from LV shop at takashimaya..

she wear not even 1yr & the plastic cover which cover the lens auto crack..

so i and her went there & ask for repair..they say they will take it back & send to a country to examine it..but they just take a photo of my friend's sunglass & return the sunglass back to him..i wonder how they are going to examine it..

one of the staff name Jeremy said that he promised he will call her back 1 mth later..this person Jeremy is damn rude when he talk !but my friend din't care so much..he want his sunglass to be repaired onli..after that my friend has waited for about more then 1 mth..but Jeremy din't call up..she cant wait anymore..so she went down to LV taka there ask..why his sunglass case like no respond? after that he asked the manager come out.one of the staff say that manager not in..then my friend tell her about what happens..

after that staff went in to check..then came out & say..''Sorry the cover is crack due to drop or blahblahblah''..but my friend din't drop it !

she ask for repair yet the staff say cant repair it..ok what kind of LV shop is this?

crack due to dropped?? omg rubbish excuse..so my friend went home damn angrily..she waited 1mth just to wait for them to say ''Sorry the cover is crack due to drop or blahblahblah'' what the hell ! after that my friend call in to LV company & ask to talk to the manager..they say manager not in..then the case push here push there..omg la..LV staff push the case to another staff & another staff..they are pushing the case almost 1 mth again..& nth happen till now..so the people out there..you can know what kind of ppl are they..

Looking at the picture, the crack doesn't seem to be caused by impact. Perhaps you should consider submitting this to CASE. And there should be a higher authority under LV that you can write to like this.

 

You have to understand another fact. LV is a very high ended brand. Even if it is a product of mediocre quality will demand extraordinary prices if it is manufactured by genuine LV plants. Naturally you don't find any tom **** and harry buying LV stuffs. A good LV owner to them is someone who will just discard the broken LV specs and said, "nevermind, I will buy another one when I go to Paris again next month."

 

Anyone who goes up to the store and make noises normally ends up being looked down upon. A duck trying to look like a swan by buying LV. I'm sorry, perhaps it sounds brutal, but it's the fact. It happens to all sorts of luxury retails. Go and see this happening in luxury car retail outlets during the boom times. It's even worse.

 

Take it easy pal, life's hard, making yourself angry will only make life harder. Prost! :cheers:

My suggestion. Hmmm f.ark it. They wont be able to repair for you either and your fren already owned it a year. How to auto crack i also dunno. And if there is warranty your fren still can fight but without warranty sighs too bad...

If this is the case, I'm better off buying LV products that are sold at the pasar malam. If spoilt, can easily dispose of it without any heart pain... :lol:

If friend never drop it.. den i think it drops itself... If 10 customer walks in with a broken piece of shades and expects it to be replaced or repair foc, den i think dey can close down.. Be it LV or Prada Or Gucci don't think it will be replaced due to self neglience unless she can proof she didnt drop it?

This type of damage is usually attributed to user's fault. Unless you are a valued customer, they may replaced it out of goodwill but valued customers seldom wear the same pair of shade more than 3 months.

Haha... I asked the same question on a friend who went to Paris to buy a LV bag. Then, our German colleague told her, people in Europe travel to Thailand and Vietnam to buy the counterfeit while Asians fly over to Europe to buy the original. She simply asked me and the German colleague, why do you all like fast cars? Why must you get a VW and a Audi? Then we replied her that because it's an Audi/VW. It has a twin clutch gearbox, excellent chassis, comprehensive package of stability program etc etc. And her reply was the same. Just replace the car brand with LV and the technical specs with bag characteristics.

 

I will never pay Euro1000 for a handbag. And she said she will never pay more than 50K Euro for a car. It's all about the preferences between a man and a woman. As someone said, Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars. LOL:lol: Just accept the fact. I had to also.

not sure about LV but i had bad experience with timberland @ taka before.

 

the boots which i bought not more than a month got spoiled..

 

1. the inner sole and metal piece inside the boot came out,

2. red color run all over the white boot (most probably from the inner layer)

 

sent back to shop and after their examination, they say can only repair, red color stains cant be removed.

 

they i questioned them for water-proof boot with color stains all over and they cant give me any answer.

 

nvm, i've written email to timberland customer service with model no and description of water-proof as stated in web site.

 

they have directed me to local timberland agent and they promised me for new pair to exchange.

 

even when i went to claim for new pair, the staff wanted to educate me for water-proof theory and such.. yeah right... i have print out from timberland.com and told him that either he is lying or timberland.com is lying.

 

 

so emoriies , since the shop doesn't help, try sending email to customer care service with detail pictures, (as it is not dropped, no scratch mark), better than nothing.

Sorry for hijacking your threat but it seems the crack happens due to negligence. I’m wearing spectacles for the last 30 years and I never seen any frames to break like that on its own. It is impossible this to happen, unless someone press the frame hard (maybe accidentally sit on it).

 

In regards to service of LV shop in Singapore I found it very good. My wife bought a LV bag from Europe and 3 months later the zip spoiled. She brought it to LV Singapore and immediately replaced the zip with no questions asked. If I’m not mistaken, after one month the bag was ready at no charge. I think they send the bag to France for repairs.

for goodness sake , it is a pair of cracked sunglasses.

Warranties dont cover that, especially after one bloody year.

 

You buy a bike after using it for a year and for whoever knows the reason, the clutch cable snaps, you want to kow pei kow bu?

 

You buy a car and after using it one year, for whatever reason the mirrors crack, you want to bring back to agent and kow pei?
