front 130, rear 180(if always pillion rear 200).

I always pump 140, 210.

dear all i am 1.78m and 75kg,

 

am i too big for Et8, wanted to get GT 200 but on a budget.

 

anyone living in bukit batok or come chinatown area.

 

i want to see one for myself if it is too small for me.

try to pm shinkai ... he just bought a ET8

 

if nobody responds, try the motorshops at alexandra. got a few GTs and ET8 on resale. mostly black colour the last i saw .... happy riding.

yeah i bought an ET8 from aspoon 1 month back. i'd happily let T-T try on my et8 but chinatown is too far from me, i stay at the west side, bukit batok still can (PM me so we could work out a plan). like what lioncat says, you can also try going to the bikeshops and have a look. or alternatively, u can go down to piaggio headquarter to test ride GT or ET (i think you'd need to make an appointment?).

actually i went to piaggio to test the GT already, feel so good.

 

too bad that is the only bike avaliable for testing.

 

also felt a bit unsafe, maybe first time riding on public road.

 

Seniors, i will need all your advise on how to be a safe rider.

 

I am thinking of going for defensive riding course at BBDC. Do you all think it is useful?

 

Also anyone know if it is a must to pass the DRC in order to ride to SAF Camp?

 

Cause may ride for re servist next time.

Hi T-T, in my opinion no need to go for DRC, u ride for a few mths on the road and u'll know how fellow rd users behave,

so its all abt getting used to riding on public rds..

actually it takes time to get used to it. scooter wheels are smaller and the bike and its wheels that you used in riding centre are bigger. so the turning radius have a great difference.

 

when i first ride my et8, i always have wide turning and after some days, i slowly get used to it.

well, i use normal shiny black sports helmet, I bought it when i was learning my 2B. din know i will get vespa in the end.. haha

Den i'd bought a red half cap frm Marco (riding TW), but found out not suitable for me and dun tink approved in SG. So now rotting at hm...

wanted to buy those half cap black leather wif goggle kind but face too round, not suitable..

You can always try runner group is a good example

 

FYI, 1 of the reason x9 riders increase fast in this forum is because we attach invitation card on theirs X9 once we spotted them
