well well, if i cant sell my bike, i'll do my bike swee swee liao..

 

The idea u suggested are not bad, had wanted to put a neon light below (when brake) but mech said dangerous, may short-circuit, hence abandon the idea..

As for the brake-got-interval-blue-orange lights is interesting....... whr to put ah??

 

I've bought an original floor mat and exhaust pipe chrome cover for it, cost me $79 from Piaggio..

The floor mat dat i bought is cover the centre part, not 3 seperate pcs as per original ones..

 

Side stand? i dun tink so la.. too short la et8..

 

Respray whole bike costs abt $300-$400..

 

Wanted to spray our plastic rims to white but objections frm gf..

 

As for the brake disc, dunno whether can change to a better performing kind, cos my et8 like beh eat leh, even tho change brake pad..

 

Seat cover change to LV kind I dun tink SG got ppl do.. if not I will see u at the bike shop oso..

 

Basically SG not much support for et8 la.. perhaps becos the parts all original, no compatibles in the market..

 

btw, jus now I was at SPC bedok north, saw an ah pek dark green et8 there, his bike got the metal trimmings ard his bike!! Like the one in Pic 3, but minus the backrest.. chk wif Piaggio, they said they dun have dat .. shux..

Dont think adding a neon light will cause short-circuit if you connect it correctly? Anyone to prove this?

 

I have to ask my dad regarding that blinking blue lights on our signal lights as he did it on his headlights for his car. (anyone knows where to do it in SG?)

hahaha agreed, side stand seems too short if we put it on et8 but it's very convenience (any idea where to add side-stand in sg as well?)

 

as for my brake disc, i think it's really very eat also, unless if it's wore out else i wouldnt change cheers!

 

i guess that LV leather have to import and ask bikeshop to staple for you, lemme try asking those et8 from overseas upon how they get their seat changed to LV and i will keep u guys update for that.

 

basically the market for vespa et8 is rather small and thus we dont really have much parts/accessories available.

 

btw i went to tong aik yesterday and they dont really have much stuff for et8

bought a halfcap helmet and a mudflag (dont know what it is call, it's a plastic thingy that just sits below your number plate).

 

i think for the crome metal part can try tong aik, i saw alot of display inside their stores but not sure whether if it can be used on et8.

 

PS: anyone have lobang for chrome mirror for et8? the auntie at tong aik told me hard to find in sg.

Yup, those et8 pictures was taken from HK et8 group. I'm only going HK around september this year, planned to bring my gf to disneyland when it opens in HK.

i guess disneyland at hk opening somewhere sept hehe hopefully before sch holidays, so i can bring my girl over.

for me, i would change to milk and brown colours for my ET8 hehee..

went to the upholstery shop off jln besar there, asked abt changing of seat to either brown or grey, they quoted me 35 for a color, with 'vespa' or 'piaggio' wording, additional $5..

color is one tone only.. but u can mix n match la, like both side brown and centre part black.. but no pattern design like LV.. no... no LV
