Don't Hurt Anyone - It oli takes a few seconds to hurt ppl u love, & it can take years to heal

Live Today - There are two eternities tat can reali break u down. Yesterday & Tomolo. One is gone & the other doesn't exist... so live today.

The ET8will look perfect in ferrari red or apple green....

 

For runner...the is 1 "FQ4D" runnerSP on sale at ES

 

It $ is no problem then get the new VXR200..perfect

If u wanna do some "hands on" on ur scoot like playing ard wif different parts to enhance itz performace then the Runner180SP will be a good buy....

Thanks for the suggestions.

 

ES = Eurosunrise or something? If so, they did my last major service satisfactorily. Rangoon road I never heard of before. Maybe check them out too.

 

Battery is wet cell. I took it out, topped it up and had someone charge it. The bike starts now, but I'm wondering if a cell or two are knackered or if there's a problem with the electricals that charge the battery, as I would expect it to hold a charge longer. Yes, I should just ride everyday!

 

I have another query, but will post as separate message...

Guys, as I mentioned in my first reply, I have an older ET8 (125 cc version).

 

It's the first scooter I've ever owned or really ridden, so I have nothing to compare it too--except fullsize motorcycles.

 

Are there any typical and reasonable (price, etc.) performance mods to improve speed, handling and braking? I realize the ET8 scoots are mainly for doddling about town, but I wouldn't mind having a bit more confidence in the bike. Especially handling and braking.

 

If so, any particular mechanic/shop to have do such mods?

 

Also, are there shops that will let me test ride a variety of new scooters and the ET8 in particular? I'm hoping to figure out whether new parts will make a difference (e.g., rebuild or replace shocks) or whether I ought to be considering a different model...

 

My ET8 is basically a hand-me-down from a colleague at work...it has over 20,000km on the clock, so possibly close to retirement time??????

20,000km is not much itz juz a average biker's mileage for a year...toking abt mod for ET8 Im not so sure but u may like to scout ard for a suitable variator set which will be more a less helpful in the bikes overall performance....

 

As for ur brakes the same old thing of bleeding ur brake hose n changing ur bakes pads wif be good enuff for an ET8
