I see I see. Well, perhaps for the time being I guess I'll just get a can of chain lube and do manually, just spray.

When I'm richer I'll invest in a scottoiler I guess. =/

Thanks guys for the input!

hey guys. got a question. recently i change my spark plug as i tot my "sudden lost of power" after moving off is because of foul plug.. but surprisingly, the plugs are ok but however, the 2 inner plug both left and right has sign of EO on it.. the mech say is maybe the EO leak into plug compartment due to the rubber seal (or similar) on the engine is broken/loosen. he comment it is not ugent.

can i ask if the plug has sign of EO on it, it is important to service the rubber seal thingy?? coz after i chage plug liao, the "Sudden no power when moving on from stationary but after throttle more.. the power come back" problem still there. is my problem due to the EO leakage?

Don't be fooled by such sales gimmick..just a sales strategy to me (IMHO). Two wheelers don't need wheel balancing much like four wheelers. What is the use of balancing two wheels with a new tyre when there is nothing wrong with the rims? After 3 months, new tyre become 3 months worn tyre then what?..balance again?...ha....x3!

You only need to do it ONLY when your rim has mild dent or damage which affects rotation speed of tyre weight when at certain speed. You do this only when you don't have the budget to change to a undamaged rim.:sian:

thx ah pek! in dat case then i go LAB to chg my tires since its cheaper there.

Hi Folks,

Recently I experience intermittent electrical failure from S4 Spec 3. I can see my speedometer suddenly drop to zero, stays for a while and jumps back to the travelling speed again. Every drop to zero, there is drop in power and resume when the speedometer jumps back. This "jumping" keeps reoccurring especially when the bike speed picks up to constant on a highway.

I just changed my battery and rectifier because of this symptoms, but the problems still persist. Can anyone advise if have the same experience before? I can't catch the problem now because it is intermittent.

Thanks in advance to all kind souls who can help me.

Your carb's jetting may be non standard. Also, possible your electrical load provision is not constant. Does your bike has proper grounding?

im riding a s4 spec2 too and facing the same prob as you. whenever i move off from traffic lights..let go clutch and and throttle, will alwaes feel a momentary lag before the bike regain power and zoom.. prob with grounding as i seen in earlier posts? sorry im noob to s4.:(

Hmm... Mine too. When stop at traffic light, moving off, release clutch and throttle, like "bobok"(bike dying) like that. But this seldom happens. Just once in a while... Why ah? Why ah? Why ah?
