Do be careful because the plastic grip on this cap is not strong and will slowly loosen by itself from vibrations and eventually dislodges and falls off. 2 of mine were almost halfway out which I had noticed during washing. To prevent them from dropping off, I applied a little of the DUNLOP glue (for gluing shoes) on their circumference and this solved the problem until the next time I need to remove them again, which is quite unlikely anyway.

1. No separate reserve tank... but its 15L + 3L.

 

2. Depends on current FC of your bike.... see how far 3L can bring you.

HI, if e throttle response is sluggish , idling sound like dying horse even after sufficient warm up, what might be the cause? i know its something in the engine, just dunno which ,what are the possible engine parts causing it, and what repair/price are needed? Some help on e matter is very much appreciated . Ty.

Hi bro's it's me again regarding the speedometer I'v asked unique motors they quoted me s$550 for the board of a spec1 speedometer! whoa thats to expensive, because I can get one through E-bay for US$220(the problem w/ it is it's for spec2) I want to preserve everything so I want one for spec1 any other shops you guys know who sell spec1 speedometer?

sorry if this hass been posted before. I'm aware that S4 fork is 41mm. i was told that spec1 or verS is slightly smaller. any truth? if so what's the size?

another question is nowadays everytime i want start my bike, i need press at least 2 times or even 3 times with some throttle. my plug change le also still same. my idling after ride is abt 1.2-1.4 like tat. when just start abt 1.1-1.2. i asked if its too low or wat but my mechanic say its ok.

 

any1 got any idea?

Generally its quite a norm for old bike lah. There has been fair wear and tear and can be any part that contributes to it.

 

What eo are you using now and when was your last carbs and air filter cleansed, throttle cables adjustment and proper grounding? May not solve your prblem but closer to getting it right.

Heh Aixin...improvise lah...go get the furniture rubber stopper (oversize can trim lah) from most DIY shop or go to stationary shop and get those plastic big buttons with/without magnet to cover it up.

Hi guys,

just detected a problem with my s4

 

when i ride and release my hands from the handlebar, the bike leans to the right instead of going straight.

 

just changed wheel bearings for both wheels and added balancer on my handlegrip. loosened suspension a little also. Problem is i dunno whether the problem is already present before changing the above things.

 

read in earlier posts, could be bearings or alignment of suspension, but how to find out? only solution is to bring to bike shop?

1. Is the speedometer for spec 1 accurate?

 

2. When i turn on the bike, the oil indicator (red color) light up, but when i start the engine, the indicator went off. Is it a sign of level of engine oil low or smth?

 

3. How we know our coolant need to top up or not? or our radiator is working well or not?

1) how accurate do you expect it to be? i think super4 meter should be quite accurate.. maybe -8km/h at higher speed?

2) mine is the same, unless my bike also got problem, then no, it is fine.

3) unscrew your right side cover of the bike then check the coolant level. there's a low and high marking.
