got my spec 1 last month, so thought wanna pamper the bike abit, so kaykiang go send to synchronise, tune and wash carb and change some worned out thingy in the carb.

today riding, open vtec, travel at 120, suddenly bike like bo strength, rpm slowing going down, try throttle majiam no fuel go in, eventually die. push to shoulder try to start immediately, got crank sound but buay sai start, rpm totally not rising at all, then got off bike, check fuel line and stuff like all quite secure. after that start the bike again, dont know whether is it mind playing trick, exhaust seem louder, cam chain sound louder, bike seem lighter and more power, when reach home, the cam chain really sound louder, dont know my mind playing trick anot.

any idea what happen? my tank left 2 bar, could it be because of that? last time i saw one thread regarding the power cut thingy faulty causing the bike to die suddenly, is this the case? any good shop for troubleshooting? thinking of going planet

sian man, now is chao recruit no time to send to workshop zzzz

under the fuel tank, there is 2 hoses near to the screw where u secure the tank. u will need to loosen the screw and lift up the tank to check. check carefully.

of the 2 hoses, one is for overflow of petrol and rain water to flow thru.

another one is for air to flow into the tank when ur bike consumes petrol.

many times it's because the air flow tube is being kink or bent and causes restriction of air flow into the tank and vacuum is formed in the tank and petrol will not flow into ur carbs...

check and update ur findings here... Cheers.

yes, under the bird area... :cheeky:

some bike shop never fix the 2 hoses back after repairs.

some bike shop anyhow fix...

some bike shop forget to fix...

some bike shop insist to fix...

to me, as long as u remove anything from the bike for a repair or service, put them back.

cos everything is there for a reason... :)

Get a street legal one, get a Yoshimura!

You don't want to get slapped with a summon of S$700 just for using an illegal exhaust, right? :D

If your bike is fast, a good rider, through practice and coaching from good skilled rider, he will be fast.

All bikes has their limit. Importantly, are those your limit?

In short, if you want to be fast, get a fast bike with good performance....

Good rider avoid danger from other disharmony road users so as to enjoy joyriding through proper speed control management in accordance with road and traffic condition. In term of speed, Super4 is good, smooth and fast bike, it a matter of whether you want its spared parts to replace faster. Another important aspect is the subject of harmony mind on safety, I find that these two non-fiction books are useful....for consideration

Somehow, rake your back wheel up. Grab the tyre and then rock it left and right and check for movement of wheel. If it is, likely your axle bearings are bad.

Thanks for your quick reply Ah Pek. Could it be the brake as well? Just remembered when I brake in the last few day, there was some sound, but I forgotten abt it.

The brakes can be a possibility too if it's about to worn out. The screeching sound could be from the wear out indicator (small metal piece in the brake pad) that is touching your rotor disc. You have to check the pad status to be certain.

Thanks for your advice. Rode the bike at the carpark and realize the rear wheel seems to move left and right abit while riding. Is it the axle bearing u are referring to? Any idea how much to replace it Sir? I service my bike at unique.
