A lifelong fan does not equate to someone who understands soccer.

O'shea is brilliant at left/right-back. Any other positions are out of his place.

He is my current favourite to replace Gary Neville on the right-back role if United are not going to break the bank for a replacement.

Fletcher is better than Hargreaves, Liam Miller or any jokes United tried or already purchased. Watch and learn his efficiency in the team's play.

And a real United fan wont insult those 2 you mentioned.

I'm not protecting them just because im a United hardcore hooligan, but because some people just support the team because they chose to like it but dont know how soccer really works. No offence.

UNITED.

I have the best signature.

theyasman sure is a Man U fan ;) wonder what will ferguson do in future about transfers  more mistakes or more good buys to boost Man U's defense?

You bet i am, my friend

We recently bought an African striker, supposedly competent enough but i havent seen him play before. United's Midfield pack is overcrowded too so i doubt we'll break the bank for anymore.

Defence-wise, Silvestre just recovered from injury and pledged to stay as he did, but ahh... He's one of the inconsistent and careless players i'd love United to either keep as a bench-warmer, or sell off.

Yeah, Ferguson kept Fletcher as he has the old british bulldog spirit. Ferguson being ferguson would have his own reasoning for keeping certain players.

Let's trust him. :thumb:

I shudder to think what would happen to Man utd if Ferguson really retire from club football.

United forever.

Trios Saha, Neville and Hargreaves suffer knocks ahead of the Toons game.

Hargreaves is injured for more than the 4th time since his purchase, and he sucks. So why is he a United player?

It's frustrating me Saha gets injured a lot too... Even Fergie has admitted his frustration, but kept his trust in his services. I love Saha, but his knees are a b!tch lahhh.

Bro Sensible, yeah man... The time Fergie retires will mark a new era for United, and i predict it wont be as victorious as during his reign, especially when Asst Manager Carlos has a deal in his contract that says he automatically becomes Manager in such events :( I still think he has a lot to learn, and thats not good enough (yet?) for top-flight.

United has always strolled past the Toons after the striker Beardsley's era ended. Managerless *should* make it easier, so i hope United doesnt show complacency. I think United 2-0, with at least one definitely from Wayne.

I think Anderson is one for the future. He's a great CM player and his holding abilities allows the rest to get into open areas before the pass comes. While not a Scholes mould he's got great potential.

Carrick has great passing range but needs to work on his shooting (when he does) but he works hard covering the field.

Hargreaves in my opinion provides the cover that Keano provided in his times. Unfortunately injury has shelved him quite a bit. When not on the medical table he's works hard and covers the back 4 superbly

Fletcher is not as good as Anderson, Carrick or Hargreaves when it comes to the role of CM or CDM. However put him on the RM and he's fantastis helps open up play and provides cover for the overlapping defender. He also hustles the wingers well.

Saha is an exact replica of Berbatov. Only a bit shorter and faster. If you watch him play he's very calm and holds the ball well. Great with both feet and links well with the rest. However this is when he's not injured. The recent injury spates though i think has left him worried and from what i see he's been holding back quite a bit. He used to be great on the ball but these days he seems to be knocked quite easily.

Nani as mentioned above, is still developing. He needs time to get used to the BPL. Park is great especially when he comes off the bench against a defence that has been run ragged.

Anyone wanna meet up to watch Man U play this weekend?

oh just remembered ....

Wat MU lack in the squad right now is height!! While the movement is great and the cohesion is there, unfortunately against teams that play up high and work hard in a 4-5-1 formation esp. closing down the ball fast we often get stuck in the passing game. Its like the problem Arsenal face.

Sometimes you just need to send the ball up and when vertically challenged its a bit harder. Another problem is in the penalty box, with vida's play being known now he's often closed off in corners by opposing defence. Scoring off these set pieces are impt ...

no "normal" place that we watch ..... unless they been doing it ledi. My 1st time askin here
