my speedo just died due to water penetration :cry:and just change to trailtech vapour.. any cases of trailtech vapor died due to water penetration? and how long does your vapour battery last? does anybody have the exact input info for vapour for drs?

p.s for those on stock speedos pls stick some tape on your speedo's perimeter (little gap between casings), the water proof seal inside is too thin to last a lifetime. original speedo $700++, vapour 200++, :bow:sticky tape 50cents:bow:

i've install at least 20+ Vapors till date.. None i knew got water problems..

recently there's only a problem with it is that when you replace a new battery, it seems to keep resetting like the battery's still old..

Battery life differs, sometimes can up till 4-6 months.. sometimes just a few months.. it's just $3 per piece.. (on paper it stats 1 year)

Input for DRZ in order:

Unit for speed = your preference (normally at KM/H)

Wheel size = 1850-1890 adjust from there when clock with other bikes or cars

24hr or 12hr clock = your preference

Time = your preference

PPR = 1

Unit for temp = your preference (normally use degree C)

High Temp warning = your preference (normally i put at 101 degrees C as the fan will on at this temp)

Over Temp warning = your preference ( i put at 120 degrees C, by this temp your engine temp would be abt 110 degrees C.. stop bike and stop riding)

RPM shift = your preference (i put at 7500 at the max torque range on specs, but usually shift by feel)

Over shift = 10500 is the rev limit for DRZ.

OEM speedo are built to be splash proof..

yes, it's expensive to replace.. that's why there's cheaper aftermarket alternatives that appear more sleek and nicer in colour..

isn a class 2 bike better in 0-100kph???

this one is confirmed

even without exhaust upgrades, 3X3 and airfilter can be done to the bike, with the addition removal of PAIR, your bike will feel less restrictive and will be more responsive on the throttle..

must rejet to match the increased air flow:cheers:

if drz FBD plate on the rd and after interest everything cost 16k++ is it a good deal?..

too ex, i sold mine way lower than tat, view my sig for the mods i had

Hello.

I bought a second-hand bike with a Delta exhaust system that came without a silencer insert. So I bought one and tried fixing it on my own but the insert was too big for the exhaust pipe as I can't fit it through the hole.

So did this Delta come stock without a silencer insert or did the previous owner modify the end can?

i was riding s4 b4 this..

there r many others here whom made the switch too..

i wldnt say which ride is betta..

cos every1 has diff likings etc..

what made me switch:

1) i like a higher ride..

2) i yearned for a H&B Alu Box to go along with my ride.. (personally i dun think s4 looks nice with a box)

Take note, the zee won't be as comfy and capable of high speed like the S4.

But its sure nimble and fun to ride.

What i like most, is how convenient to ride up n down the curb.(illegal parking heh heh heh).

i rode an xr4 b4 with a big Acerbis tank.

Sloshing, yes there will be.

But i didnt encounter much handling problem tho.

In fact it feels better with a big tank.

There's more for you to grip btwn your legs.

Saving up for a 17l Safari tank now.

I tried most of shops at Jln Besar stretch, Zeta accessories sold at BikeTech21, Dunlop St. But wanna see if there are places which offers a better price.

Pro Taper pillow grips quite unique, was wondering if any bros will be bringing in or mass-ordering for business.. Thanks for the contacts! =)

you can either buy acerbis set for the side boards and shrouds, then buy OEM for headlight and tailboard.. forkguard get CF ones, UFO plastics or OEM.. tank send for respray.. total cost not cheap..

or post and wait for someone that wants yellow to change with you..
