Hi Guys, I want to get these side bags, but is it ok to put them on my DRZ back seat? Because I am worried they will be burned by the hot exhaust pipe.... I didn't install any racks for my DRZ.

But I was told the bag was made from canvas, so it should be able to endure the heat, right? Or I can shift it a bit forward to prevent it from touching the pipe?

If not, then I will buy below bags and put them vertically on the back seat of my DRZ, then use a string to wrap it and tie up.

Any suggestions to use travel bags without using rack? Thanks.

good work done there for the krabi ride!

Hey thanx.. :)

Hey mark, really apprecieat u sending me this link and it do encouraged me.

It's true that the seat is really uncomfortable even u try changing aftermarket seat. But I may have another solution, I'll post it here once I get the equipment.

I have decided to go this Cameron trip and I'll do necessary mods as the link suggested.

hi all,

a quick question...

i just had my PAIR removed yesterday. when i reach hm, i realised that the mech just clip an old spark plug to block up the piping.

is this normal or shd i replace it with some proper plug?

BTW what is inside it? smell like some kind of oil.

How much you pay for the PAIR removal? If it is free then it is ok, it'll be a sloppy job if the mechanic used a used spark plug (eye sore n un- professional) to block up the opening end of the pipe and charge you for the job.

Mine, PAIR system fully removed with the open port at head area taped and a screw used to blank the hole. But now i improved it using some of the original parts and some welding to improve it look.

Will post the pic of it once I have them.

Hi can anybody tell me where to get IMS safari tank pls?

Ah Seng @ Mayo have them (should be below $400). And it do fix on DRZ SM well with no mod needed but use back the original fuel pet. Look like the original tank with the shroud (shroud also stored fuel).

This morning went to H&H @ bukit merah, checked the motivation slider price is $120 including installation. GPR exhaust pipe is $800 including installation.

Also confirmed the girl owns 3 scramble bikes named WL....:cheeky:

you really become a stalker!!!

Check if the price of the exhaust is for full system or just the endcan.. If full system, it's a good price..

Maybe if you buying the exhaust can bargain the axle sliders to 100..

But I total you staying stock?? :D

Hmm...interested to get one. But what if the bike fall? the fuel tank broken so how? Since the shroud contain fuel as well?

How much is the capacity of this fuel tank (below $400)?

Thanks.

it should be 17litres.

it's made of plastic that can withstand some beating, but mainly offroad falls..

it's quite thick actually, should be able to take a fall or two..

haha.. just do the necessary first..

get the protection and "insurance" parts like handguards, MCCT and sliders..
