anyone tot of changing to the acerbis SM frt fender?

after looking @ jackson's fender on his XR, i've taken a liking to it..

i wonder can we somehow get some shop to do mass order for the dj kit for us if the response is good? or best the dj kit and the base E gasket? kekeke....now getting greedy. every opportunity oso must mod the bike...it's a disease~!!

if do dj kit must get the PJ #25 and MJ # 145.... if i'm not wrong.. the PJ #25is no longer available in sg... this will be quite a project... i think i must cuff myself up for the next 15 months before i do all these... i was told that dirtwheel will have DJ kit.. as for discount for mass order.. i doubt there will be any... not sure though...

 

btw, there's only like a few of us here.. you, me, ron, tak, edwin, might wanna go for the dj kit, pj, mj and e base gasket.. i think the base gasket also not cheap.. dj kit mod itself already will cost about $200 for all the things required... definitely out of the question for me...

 

for now.. the next most feasible mod for me is the brakelines.. still researching on whether to get hel, goodridge or any other brands... guidance anyone? considering maybe pump in a little bit more for the Ti brakelines from Hel :D

so far so good on the HEL brakeline and braking brake pad for my bike.

 

price and performance wise is good.

Those looking for new decals for DRZ might wana chk it at vector along lavender road....they have a set going for $180 with a seat cover...:lovestruck:

 

Its suitable for yellow DRZ...nt suitable my black SM :sian:

2004-2005 - Yamaha TW200;

2005-2007 - Suzuki DRZ400SM;

2007-20?? - Honda Airwave;

if got chance check out shaowei's rack.. the DRZ S parked in ah biao shop awaiting for conversion to the dark side... it have this plate thing and a rack connecting to erm... think it's the point hwere the screw is screwing down the seats and the side panels...

My fren might want to let his Rally rack go. It is taken off his S model so will fit yours no problem. Where you the one who wanted the big Acerbis tank as well? My fren has a black one in excellent condition as well. :thumb:

Hey, not true.. I think DRZ has one of the best seats on a scrambler.. Tried and tested.. ERC and myself went for the Sin-KL-Genting-Sin trip and it wasn't that bad..

 

Also tried Chris' DRZSM and if you're the pillion, you may complain of the pillion's foot peg coz there seems to be some vibration when travelling top speed, and it's quite numbing..

 

Try WR4 and you know what's a really wedged ass..
