S and SM come with pillion footpegs and an extended subframe that will accomodate a box. I've seen a few DRZs with box. E models gotta fit your own pillion pegs and cannot fit box.

 

DRZ can go all the way to Thailand and Cambodia even. Across the causeway won't be a problem :thumb:

Ron you might wanna go @ 5pm and start first, KJ and me will come at 6pm or so. If you dunno the way, Ryan can lead you b4 he goes to work. I'm sure he won't mind helping a fellow DRZer! :thumb: After that we can all have makan b4 heading home.

considering that the bike cost about 13k OTR and with intention to put side box, i seriously advice on something else like NX4 because it's more of a commuting bike with wider seats that's more comfortable for both the pillion and rider. DRZSM has a smaller seat and although with subframe, i'm not quite sure about putting side boxes... reason being seldom you see DRZ pillion people for long distance is that the seat has to be reshaped and even though, the rider will have numb balls or the pillion will end up with wedged ass after a good 200 km non stop.

eh.. how much is the E base gasket? quite tempted to do it after ah biao say it will pick up faster... this will go hand in hand with FCR upgrade to make the S ride like an E but will it cost the smoothness of the bike to be omitted?

don't get what you mean... what i'm trying to ask is are you converting a DRZ-E or DRZ-S into SM? or any other bikes?

i wonder can we somehow get some shop to do mass order for the dj kit for us if the response is good? or best the dj kit and the base E gasket? kekeke....now getting greedy. every opportunity oso must mod the bike...it's a disease~!!
