Since you are trying to get a 2nd hand pulsar, i believe budget is 1 of your key areas of consideration? Honestly, imHo, getting a 2nd pulsar might not be a good choice. Coz the machine price is more or less around 2k-3k range. plus insurance, road tax and stuff, can easily be 3k - 4k. Somemore sometimes you need to change here change there... With the same amount of money, you can get another bike like YBR or Phantom or kup and do up until real nice.

Unless you are a pulsar fan, you should seriously consider other bikes as well. Don't limit yourself too early =)

I agree. I was really interested in the Pulsar before i got my ride. But what made me not get it was firstly, not easy to find one second hand becuase it is a relatively new bike. Secondly, if you do find one, there is a VERY GOOD reason why the previous owner wants to let it go. Thirdly, not alot of mechs are familiar with this bike from india. Its not like a yammie or honda where you can plug almost any part from anywhere to put in them. Although the bike has a legendary low fuel consumption, the other factors i mentioned cancelled out the Pulsar from my choices.

Haha. Just wondering.

Regarding your TP Test, i got one tip for you. Remain calm and confident. Not too overconfident. You have gone over the test route so many times. Its no different on your test. Just make sure when you check your blind spot must really drama. :p

What's your weight? I weigh 80kg and to tell you the truth, the YBR has no power. At all. You are never gonna race on this machine. Ever. Pick up and top speed is horrible.

But why i like my bike? The FC is awesome. I pump full tank once every 2 weeks. Parts are cheap and easy to get. Simple bike. Gets me from A to B. Reliek riding. But not alot of young riders riding this bike. Mostly unkle and dispatch riders. But for good reason. FC very low and is a real workhorse. If you are those who are the flashy type, i have to tell you the truth, this bike is not for you. You can mod it and make is nice all you want, but its a YBR man. At CDC used this bike and then i didnt wanna own a ybr because its gears always stick, the gears always jump, hard to change gear, etc. But, when i had my own it was much different from the school bike because they never really take care. See la, you make me talk about my bike i feel like just going down and starting it just to hear her purr. Siao. :p

don't think till so complicated. most of us change becos we want to upgrade. most of us sure crave for more power and speed but we can't have the best of all so gotta give up the good fc.

Depends on how you ride it. 40km/l to 50km/l. Mine is about 40km/l to 45km/l. But i set my idling speed to about 1.8k. If not morning very hard to start and i REFUSE to use the choke. Haha. I sommore got box behind. Create alot of drag. I still gettting my average FC. First time i ride, about 50.7km/l. Then send to bike shop, its about 35km/l. I suspect they siphon my fuel.

Anyway, Pulsar about 50km/l there. My colleague has a pulsar and kept psychoing and bragging me about his Pulsar and how it can last him 2 weeks and he always pump malaysia ride from tuas to town and back everyday. The bike feels nice and has a very big feel to it.
