Well, it rained heavily on the way back home, in Singapore. While macarena, Khai, and Zack rested at the bus-stop, I blasted all the way home at 140kph DRY (I always bring my raincoat for my Dainese... haha!)

 

Even though my M1s were 1 day old, no skidding throughout the bends. Only happened on the steel plates where the new MRT contructions are going on.

 

I did slide around a lot on the track though. They havent been properly scrubbed in yet.

 

You should be able to get M1 for $220-230 without installation. My $250 only includes installation, no balancing because our 125s dont go that fast anyway, and even at top speed, you dont stay there for long. I dont really care abt balancing because I've tried with and without balancing, and there is no difference. There will only be a difference above 200kph.

 

I also didnt bother to bargain, cos small businesses also need to survive.

I am trying out different tyres. Track tyres will definitely have maximum traction. But I'd like to try out the sports tyres. For daily use, with occasional track day types. I still ride my bike around in town sometimes.

You'd be much happier and better off with an SP.

 

The Honda SP has more power than the RS125, simply because it has a larger displacement.

I must thank you man!! Your advice is invaluable.. I'm glad i got a khaki with RS125 to help me spot my mistakes and improve my riding!!

 

And yes, the 5 lap race was awesome.. I think it was private race between the 2 of us eh? haha.. Head to head... I think my balls dropped when we touched each other at turn 4 man... Scary like hell..

 

Hmm, something like Rossi and the other guy(forgot his name) ah? haha.. Too bad no pic man.. We fighting head to head.. Friendly competition is good i feel la..

you're right about your tyres not being run in yet.. Remember how after hard cornering, your tyre wax was still protecting the rubber?? It took quite afew laps to get rid of the wax ya?

 

Too bad no soft compound tyres for our bike except Pirelli.

Well, I am the sub-rider of a RS250. With reagrds to the recent issues, maybe someone will be interested to realise that I have been the one riding the bike through the customs to his desired destination, for the owner, if he didnt realise it yet and start shooting criticism at anyone in particular.

The photos should be ready by Thur or Fri. There is a slight complication on the 2nd roll. The film was wound out of the film roll and requires a dark room to save it. It will cost more.

 

Thanks Zack, for bringing water and taking photos. Too bad there's no one with a DSLR camera to help us.

 

Its been great fun, Daniel, Alex, Khai, Zack, Alan, Kaiwei, Vik and that Fz guy.

 

My Dainese PRO-TECH suit is up for sale. Bought for $2500, size 48. Carbon fibre armour. Very good condition. Kept out of rain, inner liners washed after every track session, leather is aired dry, then cleaned, and oiled with leather care products, and kept in a dry cabinet. Comes with a hump and Dainese Hi-TEC back protector. Clean, dry and the only smell is the the smell of leather. Letting go for $1800.
