Hi

May I know who wanted to chip on for the photos?

Initially it was 6 pple, total is $22.40 - $13.60 for 2 rolls of film, $8.80 for developing

That's $3.70 per person.

Zack informed me that Vik was sponsoring the film, but I dont know if there will be any changes made.

Either way, I am not paying for the film and developing alone. That was not the deal in the first place. I hope everyone can honour their word and contribute. Just round off to $3.50 each.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

i beg to differ.

bt090 sucks in rain. believe me. i have a few friends using them for their SP and the grip in rain is terrible as compared to bt039ss and dunlop's tt900gp. and it wears out faster than bt039ss. tt900gp lasts the longest.

however i have to agree that the grip is good in dry conditions. supposedly even better than bt039ss.

but if it's for daily commuting, i think it's better to consider bt090's wet weather performance. bt090 is cheap as compared to other 2A tires, but i rather not save those kind of money.

I beg to differ my boy..

Your claim that BT39ss lasts longer sounds absurd. You do realise that BT39ss is all soft compound tyres. So unless the tyres your friends use for their SP have their compound harden, i doubt it's possible for the BT090's medium compound to wear out faster.

Also, I've used BT090 and GPR70s on the road dry and wet and on the track as well.. In my experience, the BT090 has better grip in wet weather, unlike the GPR70 which will cost you to slide when you go over white markings and such. However, GPR70 is better on the track i admit. In dry weather only. Wet floor results in you sliding again. I've tried it in both conditions.

BT090 is an affordable tyre, same as continential tyres. But pls remember, just because it's more expensive doesnt mean it's better. I know alot of ppl like to put Michelin Pilot Power etc on their bikes when they dont even go track or whatever.

It's best to get tyres suited for your needs, rather than be a poser. In my experience, i'd vote for BT090. IN fact, tat's the tyres i'm going to be changing for my RVF as i dont intend to bring my RVF to track. YET...

hah totally wrong bro.. bt 090 rocks in the rain, ok maybe not the rain but wet floor and on the track.. been there done tt (right vik?).. BUT, BUT i would lyk to emphasise on my cbr400 it works lyk a charm maybe coz the bike is heavier. On my 125.. i felt it doesnt stick as much to the road.. GPR70 would be good. but stopped production liao so other alternatives im nt sure oreadi.

What the hell is that supposed to mean??

For our muslim frens to eat, everything has to be halal..

Do you guys know what does Halal mean or not??

Just because no pork or lard used, doesnt mean it's halal. All meat/food items need to have the halal tag. and the method of preparation also needs to be halal in the sense that utensils used are not used for non halal items.

I hope the "chef" knows what he is doing..

Eh..

You going to be killing chickens at the BBQ ah?? I didnt know got cert to make halal food..

And eh, there'e no muslim law to cleanse the utensils from what i know..

If i'm not wrong, all you have to do is use brand new utensils for the halal food and do not use them for any of the unhalal food. Even if it touches the unhalal food, i dont think you can re use the utensils even if you wash them..

PS. I nvr said i can do a better job. Just make sure you know what you're doing...

david, i suggest getting some brand new aluminium trays to marinate the food and uses the plastic bags to keep the food.

if it's possible, can a muslim brother try to help out david on tat day. firstly, it's gonna be difficult for him to prepare food for 20 over person. second, at least the rest of the muslim brothers can haf a peace of mind and enjoy the food.
