Guys .... When i go out of my blk , i saw my bike lying motionlessly on the ground ... i was so distraught that i ran and i pick it up ... My fairing cracked and my side mirror broke ... Someone must have dislike my bike .. juz bought it ard a mth plus ... Anyway i covered my bike every single day with a bike cover ... Next time i wanna employ a singh to monitor and secure my bike oledi ... Damm sadddddd

My crotch rocket? Doing better than most, I'd say. Umm, 10 yrs old, 30km/L, plug change once per year, valve never needs cleaning. I pity those too lazy to DIY. hur hur hur... Been riding this little toy for 4 yrs now. No esteem issues, hence no need for bigger bike.

 

Just touched down from Zurich and am trying to upload my photos. Someone from this forum tried to call me (I do apologise) when I was trying to enjoy a grilled perch over the Lake of Zurich at the foot of Mount Pilatus, unfortunately, it's a little hard to justify taking a call in the middle of a scenic holiday unless its a death of a family member or the start of WWIII.

People gathered but the organizer himself did not turn up! :slapforehead: All 250 riders except for me and tknge. Some mechanics there as well. He was so impressed with tknge custom brake arm, that he wanted tknge design some for his customers. Ha ha ha! Very interesting, did not know that 250 with dry clutch makes a sound like an ice cream van. When it ended, one of the 250 rider's bike could not start and my, was I impressed at the way he pushed started the bike (flat road & ran with bike for approx 100m). Strength & balance. Power man!

aiyo small girl where gt $, so it's ok lah... next time in carpark i look out for small girls running:giddy:

Taking a break there. :)

 

Aprilia? Yes, too many to count. Ducati, Benelli, Aprilia, Agusta, Yamaha, Honda and BMW bikes are very common there. The weather there is really perfect for biking. It's summer now, so the sun's really bright and hot (will give u sunburn if u skimp on the sunblock, just like in SG), but the air and wind is very chilly. All bikers there are decked out in full armoured gear like summer jackets, armoured jeans, and full faced helmets, even in the hot sun - very sensible.

 

I also saw the Yamaha YZF-R125. It is a gorgeous bike. Looks waaaaay better than an Aprilia of the same capacity. Only gripe I have is the front fork, which is not an inverted fork like our RS125s. However, I test-rode the stock model from the Yamaha showroom hoping it'd be not as good as an Aprilia, but am embarrassed to say despite the normal fork, the bike handles as well as my bike. The Japanese managed to get their geometry right. No power to speak of, though... hahaha feels like a 50cc toy scooter, and sounds like one too! Damn weak whirring noise, unlike our bikes' sexy, high pitched buzz of a single-cylinder 2-stroke.

I'd love to buy one to ride as a transport bike. Top speed is about 100kph, and takes forever to get there. I couldnt stop laughing at how weak it was, cos it looks really fast. Non-existent power means fuel economy! Very important in the time of rising fuel costs. :D

 

Many of the gorgeous women here also ride to work. Some can handle their KTM motards in ways that would make our local riders look like girls. Especially through all the twisty mountain passes.

It sure has been some time since the last gathering. Kinda've missing it.

 

Each time, there's so many questions that I have answered by everyone whose there. Its great. And each week, there's at least a couple new questions popping up in my mind.

Hmmm... Me neither... The only difference is, I havent got a bike to ride... So can't go out too late at night, unless a kind soul comes by, fetch and send me home... Hahaha...
